Clear Falls 96, La Porte 26


The Knights home opener was one to remember as Clear Falls steamrolled La Porte by scoring 21 or more points in each quarter, including 26 in both the second and fourth quarters.

Clear Falls had 13 players score at least two points led by Ashlynn Dunbar who had 13 points and had six rebounds. Ariel Wolfe filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, five assists and five steals for Clear Falls.

Destiny Navarro chipped in with 11 points and connected on three three-pointers for the Knights. Sydney Cole added 10 points and Cortisha Elias corralled a team high 10 rebounds for Clear Falls.

Clear Falls will be looking to go 3-0 on the young season when they host Pearland on Tuesday. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
