Santa Fe junior outside hitter Kylie Verm earned offensive player of the year honors to highlight 23-5A’s all-district awards for county volleyball players.

Receiving first-team all-district distinctions for the Lady Indians were senior right-side hitter Tori Smith, sophomore setter Kassidy Taves and sophomore libero Elena Dondonay. Sophomore middle blocker Rachael Douglas and senior middle blocker Julia White were second-team picks, and senior outside hitter Breanne Harris and sophomore outside hitter Cassi Cruz were honorable mentions.

For Ball High, sophomore setter Logan Kelly was a first-team selection, sophomore libero Caroline Baze and senior middle blocker Laura Mifflin were second-teamers, and senior outside hitters Kaila Lee and Lexie Koehler were honorable mentions.

Texas City freshman outside hitter Ashlynn Lewis was named to the 23-5A first team, while freshman libero Macee Medina and junior setter Jennifer Herrera made the second team, and senior defensive specialist Ashleigh Rivas and freshman right-side hitter Haley James were honorable mentions.
