There’s been plenty of buzz in Texas City about the town’s 5-0 Stingarees football team, but they’ll face their toughest test of the season to date when the 5-0 Nederland Bulldogs come to Stingaree Stadium on Friday.

Texas City’s fast and physical defense will be tasked with slowing down Nederland’s talented dual-threat quarterback Luke Broussard, who, along with a strong defense, led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 start in District 12-5A-II with a 31-0 home win last week over Santa Fe.
