Clear Creek 3, Brazoswood 0

CLUTE - The Clear Creek Wildcats defeated the Brazoswood Buccaneers with the scores 25-14, 25-18, and 25-12 on Friday. 

Caitlyn Burroway led the Wildcat’s kills with 10. Olivia Rigby dove in for 21 digs. Mariah Pardo led assists with 28. 

Clear Creek will play a home match Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Friendswood.

Clear Falls 3, Dickinson 0

LEAGUE CITY - The Clear Fall Knights defeated the Dickinson Gators with the scores 25-14, 25-21 and 25-21 on Friday.

Ashlynn Dunbar led in kills with 19. Kayla Hayes had 11 assists. Madelyn St. Germain dove in for 18 digs.

Nayo Warnell led Dickinson with 11 kills and five blocks. Amaya Young added eight kills and three blocks. Valencia Barrett had a well-rounded match with eight digs and 11 aces.

Clear Falls will play next in Harris County, Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Clear Lake.

Dickinson hosts Brazoswood in its next match, which will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Clear Springs 3, Friendswood 1

LEAGUE CITY - The Friendswood Mustangs lost against the Clear Spring Chargers with the scores 19-25, 25-22, 22-25, and 23-25 on Friday.

Shannon Murphy led in kills with 20, along with Kelly Colwell, who had 19. Olivia Sykes led in digs with 29. Sarah Thomas aided the team with 53 assists.

Player statistics for Clear Springs were not immediately available.

Friendswood will play next in League City, Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Clear Creek.

Clear Springs hosts Clear Brook next in a match 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Fort Bend Bush 3, Ball High 2

GALVESTON - The Ball High Lady Tors lost a close match with playoff implications against the Bush Broncos with the scores 21-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-23 and 12-15 on Friday. 

Skylar Simon led the team in kills with 20. Gillian Nelson led assists with 47, and Courtney Mack led in digs with 48. 

Ball High plays a home match Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Fort Bend Willowridge.

Santa Fe 3, Fort Bend Elkins 0

MISSOURI CITY - The Santa Fe Indians won against the Elkins Knights with the scores 25-12, 25-11, and 25-16 on Friday. 

Keegan Nelms dominated the kills for the Indians with 26. Cayla Hockenbury led aided the Indians with 27 assists.  Jordan Jewell led digs with eight. 

Santa Fe will play a home match against Fort Bend Marshall on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. 

Fort Bend Ridge Point 3, Texas City 1 

TEXAS CITY - The Texas City Stings lost to the Ridge Point Panthers with the scores 23-25, 25-14, 16-25 and 24-26 on Friday. 

Treslyn Ortiz had 22 kills, 22 digs and two blocks. Kelsey Thomas had nine kills. Allison Jennings had 13 digs. Celeste Lacy had 17 digs.

Mya McMillian and Mya Vasquez combined for 10 kills and eight blocks out of the middle. Kendal King had 37 assists.

Texas City will play a home match Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Fort Bend Bush.
