The New Year is now in full swing and, while the forecasts do not look favorable for fishing in the near term, let’s take a look at what we should expect in 2020 for our most popular sport.

The big caveat in forecasting what we should expect is the possibility of a fish-killing freeze. Hopefully, we can make it for another six weeks or so without any major freezes, and if so, we should be in the clear.
