Our summertime fishing patterns are upon us, including daytime heat advisories. The heat index in Galveston on Tuesday was expected to reach 105 degrees, which is not good for midday outdoor activities.

While actual heat advisories will not be issued by the National Weather Service until dangerous conditions exist, there still are high temperatures to deal with most days from now through some point in September.
