To paraphrase Charles Dickens, it’s the best of times for runners, and the worst of times for runners.

Some in the running community are making the most of suddenly having fewer demands, whether work or social, and logging more miles than usual on carefully planned and socially distanced runs. Others, however, are cut off from their gyms and running groups, and have put running on hold.
