The US Open is the first Grand Slam since the ATP and the WTA resumed their respective seasons interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. Grand Slams are usually the high points of a tennis season because of the intensity and high-level performance from men and women players.

My most surprising moment from the tournament is Novak Djokovic’s default. Djokovic was frustrated after the play and hit a tennis ball behind him. The ball hit the line judge directly in the neck. Based on his reaction, it looked like an accident to me.
