Jose Altuve, Robinson Cano

Houston Astros’ Jose Altuve, right, talks with Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano, left, after Altuve hit a double in the first inning Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Seattle.

Jose Altuve proved again Sunday why he is the best player in the American League, if not all of baseball.

Serving as the Houston Astros designated hitter, Altuve had four hits, including his 15th home run of the season, and drove in three runs as the Astros cruised to an 8-1, series-clinching win over the Seattle Mariners.
