Last Friday morning, I went to the practice tee in search of the swing I seemed to have left somewhere. To no avail, I had already looked all over the golf course for several rounds. Like a hummingbird at a backyard feeder, it was there one second and gone the next.

A brief warmup in the short game area had me loose enough to go to work with my 8-iron (I read somewhere, sometime that hitting the 8-iron solidly portends good shots with all the other irons). I fell into a rhythm fueled by the “proper sequencing” drill GolfTec coach Michael Finney had prescribed; soon, I just had to give it a try on the course.

Why does Tiger keep playing? Because his Nike contract requires it? 16 strokes out of first place is still worth money (he doesn't need) to Nike. Nike sells slave labor products because Tiger has to keep playing. Is Tiger just another 'slave' selling Nike products?
