Last Friday morning, I went to the practice tee in search of the swing I seemed to have left somewhere. To no avail, I had already looked all over the golf course for several rounds. Like a hummingbird at a backyard feeder, it was there one second and gone the next.
A brief warmup in the short game area had me loose enough to go to work with my 8-iron (I read somewhere, sometime that hitting the 8-iron solidly portends good shots with all the other irons). I fell into a rhythm fueled by the “proper sequencing” drill GolfTec coach Michael Finney had prescribed; soon, I just had to give it a try on the course.
