Before the Houston Texans’ game Sunday at Indianapolis, players donned Houston Astros apparel in support of the city’s MLB franchise, which the night before clinched their second American League pennant in three seasons in dramatic fashion.

Seeing the Houston professional athletes support each other — Houston Rockets stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook were notably sitting behind home plate at Minute Maid Park for Saturday’s ALCS clincher — is always great to see. What would be even better, though, is if the Texans could manage replicate the Astros’ winning mentality and killer instinct.

The Colts taught the league something. Watson is less effective and easier to sack if kept in the pocket. Watson is a better passer when running. Texans receivers are easier to cover when Watson can't give them time to scramble.
