Texas’ massive power grid failure last month is set to become the subject of a congressional investigation.

A subcommittee of the U.S House Committee on Oversight and Reform on Wednesday wrote a letter to Bill Magness, the president and CEO of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, demanding information from the organization about preparations and responses to the winter storm.

I support HR1 - it is a bill that protects voting rights from voter suppression attempts. I'm not surprised that Randy Weber doesn't support protecting voting rights since he has a record of voting against protecting our democracy.

[thumbup] HR1 will be the most effective tool for protecting the right to vote since the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

HR1 is NOT a bill that protects voting rights. It's a bill designed to make voter fraud easier. They need to follow the recommendations of the Jimmy Carter-James Baker Commission which says NO to most of what HR1 proposes.
