Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently made a verbal request to the Department of Public Safety for information about the number of people who changed their gender on their driver's license or state ID cards in the past 24 months.

Why would the attorney general need this information?

If I were a betting man, he's probably seeking some PR and may try and use it for some sort of voter fraud claim.

Gary Scoggin

I agree Ron. Guys like Paxton are about power, not virtue.

Carlos Ponce

Not really, Scoggin. They re-elected him because he does a good job. Only Liberals thought it was about "power". He beat his 2022 Democrat opponent by a wider margin (54.4% -42.7%) , than his 2018 opponent (50.6% - 47.0%).

The Republicans have already been successful in taking away women’s rights, so as long as they are controlled by the Religious Zealots they can try to take away Liberty from just about everyone

Women's rights were not taken away . Just another lie by the leftists. You can vote for or against abortion as far as I can tell.

It will never happen, have the voters decide.
