The Texas City Garden Club would like to thank everyone who came out to support last year’s Holiday Market.
It was an overwhelming success with over 50 vendors. The garden club is just one of many organizations supporting our community.
By doing our part to contribute to the community, we expose ourselves to opportunities to build relationships with our neighbors. We also demonstrate what it means to be a good citizen to our children.
Attend local festivals and events. Most festivals are fundraisers for nonprofit organizations who make their money through such events.
Since organizations look at attendance to decide on continuing events, your family can add to the number for future activities.
The Texas City Garden Club will again be hosting its annual Holiday Market from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Nessler Center.
We will have vendors, a plant sale and delicious homemade baked goods.
We are now accepting vendors. For information, contact Nancy Heard at hea345nancy@comcast.net or 409-771-5697
The garden club meets 10 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Nessler Center and welcomes new members.
