The article that mentions the complaint from a former University of Texas Medical Branch employee comparing Dr. Ben Raimer to a "groomer" is preposterous ("UT System discloses student's haircut complaint against Raimer," The Daily News, May 15. 2023).

I met Raimer as a teenager and worked for him alongside several friends doing yard work that he made available just so my friends and I had a safe place to go to earn money, rather than take part in illicit activities in the streets.
