In response to Joseph Pelto's commentary ("Never-Trumpers judge intentions rather than actions," The Daily News, Dec. 29, 2022) all I can say is what I've seen on a coffee cup: "I Love It When I Wake Up and Trump Is Not President."

Hope this nothing letter to the editor did not strain the author's intellect or the GDN's editing for context evaluation.

The article should have save everyone's time and just quoted Biden's escape from his mind-fog with "you know the thing."

Pete Nanos

The writer reads coffee cups, but drinks from a Kool- Aid glass.

All you Liberals get ready for a big surprise![beam]

Carlos, do you plan on running?

Carlos Ponce

No, God has other people to do that.

George Laiacona

Carlos is your god going to create another natural disaster that will change the Republicans agenda. Will the meek inherent the earth?

Carlos Ponce

The meek will inherit the earth.

Gary Scoggin

“The meek will inherit the earth.”

That pretty much excludes most of at this forum! 😀😀😀😀😀

Virginia Stone

What is the surprise you are referring to, Carlos, and why does it only affect liberals?

Carlos Ponce

If I told you it wouldn't be a SURPRISE!

Virginia Stone

So it's a secret, and only liberals will be affected. Carlos, you remind me of Frank Burns's the character on MASH, the old TV series.

Carlos Ponce

Be surprised!

Bailey Jones

Virginia, it's no secret. Carlos follows the idiotic ravings of a fraud called Julie Green. She pretends to channel god through the "frequencies" in the music she listens to. She's a darling of the Trumpsters, flitting from town to town filling their hearts and emptying their pocketbooks.

At the end of 2021, she made many prophecies that "god" told her would happen in 2022. Election deniers like Carlos glommed on to her ravings as their last best hope for the resurrection of their lord and savior, DJ Trump. There is no doubt about what she said would happen and when she said it would happen. Her prophecies read like Alex Jones' shopping list - Obama's "real" birth certificate is found and he's "exposed", arrested, and jailed for treason. Biden has been replaced by one or more dopplegangers who are controlled directly by Obama - 2022 was the year that Biden would stand before a microphone and - being befuddled by his dementia - spills the beans on his handlers and the Biden administration comes crashing down. 2022 was the year that the Q-Illuminati gets exposed - all the corrupt connections between the deep state Dems and China get exposed, and many, very many, so many you wouldn't believe it, government employees are arrested and tried for treason. 2022 was the year that the FBI, CIA, WHO, IRS, DOJ, and every other combination of three letters are exposed, and their leaders are arrested and tried for treason. 2022 was the year that Herchel Walker and that crazy lady in Arizona win their elections. 2022 was the year that a massive magnitude 8 earthquake destroys California, helped by a massive tsunami coming from Hawaii. 2022 was the year that Florida doesn't get hit by a massive hurricane. 2022 was the year that Bill Gates is brought down for his COVID crimes. 2022 is the year that Biden dies. It's the year that Nancy Pelosi is exposed as a baby eater and dies. It's the year that the "truth" about JFK's assassination comes out. Bill Clinton dies. Putin reveals all his dirt on the Bidens. Mark Zuckerberg goes to jail for treason. Jeff Bezos dies. Never before seen video exposes Jan 6th as a massive plot by Nancy Pelosi and George Soros. The statue of Liberty cracks in two and collapses. The military destroys Washington DC and restores Trump to power in his new capital, Trump City. The worldwide banking system collapses. Fauci is arrested and jailed for treason. Prince Charles gets exposed (more baby sex trafficking) and never becomes king. Big Ben collapses. Alec Baldwin and all the rest of the Hollywood child sex traffickers are exposed and arrested. And so on.

Yes - 2022 was going to be quite a year.

Of course, none of this came to pass because, as we all know, Julie Green is a fraud and those who follow her ravings are idiots. Now, any rational person who believed her 2022 prophecies - an oxymoron to be sure - would have seen her fraud and accepted the fact that they had been duped. And there's no shame in being duped by a charlatan. But not our Carlos. He still believes. If the prophecies didn't come true, it's not because Julie is wrong - it must be the calendar that's wrong. The Impotent God of Trumpdom can't even tell time, much less win elections.

This has been going on for about a year. Carlos has repeated this nonsense on a daily basis, becoming ever smaller and ever more ridiculous to the point that he's managed to become a complete laughingstock. Not even his fellow Trumpsters can stomach his ignorant utterances anymore - and that's saying something.

And, as much as I enjoy pointing out how totally, incredibly, almost magically, stupid Carlos is, after January 1st I'm done with him. Others here may continue to entertain his scribblings, but I won't be among them.

Anyone who is interested in the intellectual and moral cesspool that defines the Republican Party in its end times can stay up to date at Julie Green's website -

Bailey missed all the other Christian prophets I listen to and failed to note that what she reveals is accurate. Just because they don't fit Bailey's timeline he considers them frauds.

"Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates.

Take as an example of hardship and patience, brothers and sisters,

the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord." James 5:10

Jim Forsythe

There were hundreds of prophets—famous and obscure—whose predictions about Trump being restored to his rightful place in the White House provided a theological framework for the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The smoke had barely cleared when a few of the prophets repented for being wrong. Their websites and Facebook feeds were inundated with vulgarities, recriminations and even death threats. Jeremiah Johnson, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based prophet who said Trump would win in 2020, admitted on January 7 that he was wrong and said he got "multiple death threats" and "thousands" of angry emails. He added that he "never dreamed" that such a barrage of "satanic attack and witchcraft" would come from charismatic/Pentecostal people. He also said in a Facebook post, "To my great heartache, I'm convinced parts of the prophetic/charismatic movement are far SICKER than I could have ever dreamed of. I truthfully never realized how absolutely triggered and ballistic thousands and thousands of saints get about Donald Trump." Michael Brown, a leader in a 1990s movement known as the Brownsville Revival and a Charlotte-based scholar with a decades-long history of prophetic involvement, said it "was the largest-scale deception I've seen in 49 years of following Jesus." Die-hard prophets began shifting their timelines backward. After President Joe Biden was inaugurated on January 20, some prophets said that Trump would be restored in March. Robin Bullock, a pastor from Birmingham, Alabama, resorted to Shakespeare to prophesy that Biden would be out by the "ides of March." Others said that the military was going to remove Biden by the end of April, at the latest, or that Trump was still president in an alternate spiritual reality taking place in heaven.

Jim Forsythe

"If you name a specific date, you can fall pretty flat when Trump doesn't show up,"

James Beverley, a research professor at Tyndale University in Toronto and author of the 2020 book God's Man in the White House: Donald Trump in Modern Christian Prophecy, said that by August, prophets had wised up about naming exact dates.

"If you name a specific date, you can fall pretty flat when Trump doesn't show up," . Some still believe that Trump will be miraculously reinstalled. Others have joined the anti-vaccination movement. Others are pouring their energies into revival meetings, and one is broadly hinting that Biden will die in office. Charlie Shamp, president of Destiny Encounters International in Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who prophesied last year that Trump's eventual victory would hinge on certain events in Pennsylvania, was in the crowd outside the U.S. Capitol on January 6. In a September 16 YouTube broadcast honoring the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, he obliquely predicted Biden's death in office. "I saw the flag of the United States begin to lower, and I saw Joe Biden's health diminish," he said. "The administration that sits in the White House is under the judgment of God, and we are going to see the health of the man who sits in the White House begin to diminish. And I saw the American flag lowered to half-staff." As if to press home the point, on December 19 he posted on Instagram photos from last March of Biden stumbling on the steps of Air Force One. He wrote: "I heard the Lord say, 'A greater fall is coming to Biden.'"

"There were hundreds of prophets..." But the ones I listen to have a good track record.

I'm amazed at how any fool would pay money to this ungodly evil entity.

Raymond Lewis

You have entertained this one reader biggly Mr Jones while responding to the nonsense you describe so well. Here's hoping you will consider occasionally stepping back in when smack downs like only you can administer are in order.

Carlos Ponce

They never ask for money, Virginia.

I've been done with you for a long time. Too blabby for me. Write a lot and say nothing.

C, I love Mark Twain - he had the ability to see America more clearly than most. Here's my favorite of his quotes - "Conservatism is the blind and fear-filled worship of dead radicals."

"Carls". Isn't that chicken place?

Our public schools teach young Fascists and Socialists to hate a conservative capitalist like D J. Trump. Hate is a poor provider for a happy life.

Gary Scoggin

Two things…

1. Can you provide an example of our public schools teaching what you describe?

2. Why do Trump supporters keep insisting he’s a conservative?

Carlos Ponce

Battle of the Garys:

Gary Miller:Our public schools teach young Fascists and Socialists to hate a conservative capitalist like D J. Trump.

Gary Scoggin:. Can you provide an example of our public schools teaching what you describe?

Scoggin, a simple web search produces these topics:

"Public School Textbook Teaches Overtly Anti-Trump, Pro-Leftist 'Curriculum' "

"Revealed! City school teaching kids to HATE Trump"

"Washington Public School Teacher Teaching Kids To Be Anti-Trump "

"Michigan superintendent rips anti-Trump quiz teacher gave to students as 'misinformation' "

"Stop Teaching Anti-Trump Bias"

"Anti-Trump image displayed in public school classroom"

"Public School Teachers Urged To Step Up 'Anti-Trump' Rhetoric"

and hundreds more.

You may judge the source material. You may consider some TOO CONSERVATIVE.

As far as President Donald J. Trump, he may not be Conservative but his agenda and actions are.

Judging from Scoggin's current post - Gary THE LIBERAL Scoggin.

Obviously limit your reading to coffee cups

Thomas Carpenter

When is the last time you were in a public school, Mr. Miller" You spew those lies without offering proof, as usual.

Pete Nanos

If you bothered to read the thread you would have seen the proof, but just like most liberals, you don't read with comprehension.
