I have refrained from writing recently because I am tired of the same old arguments again and again. I especially mean the letters from Democrats who say President Biden is so much better than former President Trump and that the country is so much better off than when Trump was president.

To my surprise, Biden recently touched on the truth when he said something to the effect that he had to finish the job. I could not agree more. However, I believe the job Biden is doing is destroying the economy by supporting reckless spending along with the border where he has disregarded the chaos of unlimited illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

The JACKAL will be out of the office... but not before the HYENA claims the seat. But let your heart not be troubled, this will be short lived.

Robert Braeking

Completing the job of B Hussein Obama to "fundamentally change America".

Ed Buckner

Your profound ignorance is no excuse for your incivility.

Ed Buckner

Erna Pelto, I agree that there's little point in arguing with you and folks like you about this--you are badly ill-informed and committed, apparently, to staying that way. Sheesh.

Robert Braeking

Thus says the the believer of all things propaganda. One could not be less informed.

Ed Buckner

Your profound ignorance is no excuse for your incivility.

Doug Thomas

Please share with us what the Democrats have done right?

Ed Buckner

Sure--readily available. For example-- https://www.nrdems.org/why-vote-for-democrats/democrats-accomplishments-under-biden

Carlos Ponce

Thanks for the joke, Ed!

Robert Braeking

Unemployment decrease largely due to returning workers from the shut down. Labor participation rate - not to be discussed by the indoctrinated.

Destroyed 30 million jobs then takes credit for 12 million workers returning to work.

From shut down not difficult to show increase in manufacturing jobs. Duh!

Vaccination program a failure. Not effective. Not safe. Fired your ass if you did not comply. Largest government overreach in history.

Investment in climate change? Spending money to perpetrate a hoax. Excess spending contributing to the highest inflation in over 40 years.

DID NOT cancel ANY student loan debt. Could not get it through Congress.

Surrendered in Afghanistan leaving billions of dollars in equipment.

In bed with Ukraine through his deals with Barisma......Oh wait. That was Hunter. Oh well. Joe is the "Big Guy" - the CEO if you will. Without his weakness in Afghanistan, Russia would not have invaded.

Happened to be there when the military, which he loathes, did its job.

Not only killing Al-Qaeda mastermind but supports killing babies in the womb. Talk about killing the defenseless.

No, Buckner, Biden has not done a thing for this country and has harmed it nearly irreparably.

Your willing ignorance is biblical.

Ed Buckner

Well, Braeking, I suppose I should be grateful that least you don't make fun of or misspell my name. Your misstating matters does not constitute a reasonable argument nor dispel the conclusion that you suffer from willful ignorance.

Nothing about me, for good or ill, is "biblical."

Larry Grissom

Seriously? That’s your proof? Lol Best laugh I’ve had all day

Robert Braeking

Making fun of one's name is the type of childish thing that your ilk is famous for.

I was speaking of the letters of Paul where he was writing about you, not for you, referring to those who are willingly ignorant. Marxists have another term: useful idiot - one who repeats the propaganda for the advancement of the cause of the state.

I debunked every one of your talking points on your "biden's accomplishments" website. Which is not truthful? You do not wish to debate. You merely want to promote the propaganda for the state. What does that make you in Marxist terms? I the Christian term is "willingly ignorant".

Craig Mason

I will share 3 things. Lowest unemployment in 50 years, infrastructure bill passed. The largest investment in infrastructure 70 years. Cost of insulin capped at 35 dollars for Medicare recipients. On top of that inflation is steadily waning. Not sure where you live or what you do, but my family is doing pretty well. Investments are doing well job is going good. I am fairly happy at the moment.

Carlos Ponce

Craig has joined the chorus of "Stand By Your Man".

domenico nuckols

This a typical GOP rans: lie, defect, and blame someone else. The build back better act is addressing the needed money fix the infrastructure. Bridges need repair or replacement. Lead pipes need replacement. The list can go on forever. Is this reckless spending? I think not!

George Laiacona

Here we go again! Another disgruntled Trumper unhappy that his traitor hero failed to destroy our Republic on January 6th. Because he is a traitor Republican he is trying to shift the blame to the patriotic democrat that is our president. He is sidestepping the fact that Biden is doing more for the American workers than any other president since FDR. The traitor Republicans screwed up when they put the TV celebrity in place. Now that must pay for their mistakes.

Carlos Ponce

Oh, joy..... Demonico and Lalacona are singing a duet of "Stand by Your Man". [scared]

domenico nuckols

Carlos> You are a SORE LOSER

Ed Buckner

Domenico, you were incorrect (by omission). The correct label is "SORE, WILLFULLY IGNORANT LOSER"

domenico nuckols

I sit corrected Ed.

Robert Braeking

Oh My Goodness - Buckner is using a biblical reference.

Carlos Ponce

Neither sore, nor losing, Demonico!

Ed Buckner

Ah, Carlottabull--still a SORE, WILLFULLY IGNORANT LOSER--and RUDE and INCOMPETENT NAME SPELLER besides. The proper labeling for Carlottabull just grows and grows.

Ed Buckner

And Carlottabull once again, completely unsurprisingly, demonstrates its inability to spell or show the most basic level of respect for fellow human beings. Is this an effect of religious perversion or of Trumpism or of both? Hard to tell.

Robert Braeking

Name distortion - as I said. Your childish tendencies. Why not debate? It's a rhetorical question. I know the answer. You cannot compete in the arena of ideas.

LEROY NASCHKE

Anyone that can’t see the damage that Biden has created, has their head buried so deep up their @&$, that it would take a surgical procedure to remove. Inflation….energy….foreign policy…transportation…ballooning debt….Hunter scandal….administration wokeness..and on and on. Those are trees. The forest is there, some just choose not to see it.

domenico nuckols

During the Loser Trump circus, the price of a half a gallon of milk went up 26 cents. Is that not inflation? The egg industry had to destroy Millions of chickens. How can the President control that? What is the Hunter scandal? Can the US control world energy prices? No! Your just a SORE, WILLFULLY IGNORANT LOSER.

Pete Nanos

Pretty much on point Mr. Naschke. [thumbup]

Jim Forsythe

*We now have the fastest decline in unemployment ever recorded during a president’s term. The unemployment rate is 3.6%.

*When President Biden first took office, nearly 20 million people were reliant on unemployment checks to feed their families, now that number is at 1 million -- the lowest since 1970.

*In April, there were 428,000 jobs created. In total, since President Biden took office, 8.3 million jobs were created and those are record setting numbers.

*We now have the fastest decline in unemployment ever recorded during a president’s term. The unemployment rate is 3.6%.

Carlos Ponce

Now compare that unemployment with PRE-PANDEMIC Numbers. Biden didn't create those jobs.

"Biden has overseen a large increase in jobs, but he’s not really the one creating them" But the increase was marked by the rollout of vaccines, the reopening of businesses and a return to semi-normal after the coronavirus pandemic

Also, presidents don’t really create jobs. There are many more factors at play in the economy. "

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/sep/21/gwen-moore/biden-has-overseen-large-increase-jobs-hes-not-rea/

As far as unemployment the numbers don't add up with the job participation rate on the decline.

Now consider the massive layoffs big companies have announced. Will Biden take credit for them also? His policies contributed.

Jim Forsythe

*When President Biden first took office, nearly 20 million people were reliant on unemployment checks to feed their families, now that number is at 1 million -- the lowest since 1970.

Carlos Ponce

Why? Because Blue state governors continued lock downs and layoffs. An analogy is an arsonist who then takes credit for putting the fire out. In hindsight, lock downs and layoffs did NOTHING.

Gary Miller

Carlos > Presidents don't actually create jobs. Presidents do destroy jobs. Biden destroyed over 20 million jobs by forcing shutdowns. Now he claims when the unemployment he created recovers the jobs he killed that he created them. Aparently he passed lying in "crime pays" school taught by ED and dominico.

Robert Braeking

[thumbup]

Ed Buckner

Half-truth? Maybe, but that'd be a full half more than Carlos Ponce can manage.

Carlos Ponce

I believe in TRUTH, JUSTICE and the American WAY!!!!

Ed Buckner

Super! Now if you'd just start commenting as if you actually knew what truth, justice, or the American way actually are. Your "secret" identity is blown.

Carlos Ponce

I KNOW the truth, but you can't handle the truth.

Gary Miller

Jim . The number of jobs Biden killed with forced shutdowns were also record setting. He is not creating jobs. He is letting his unemployed return to work. The number of people getting unemployment benefits is down to 3.6% but the number of unemployed on other entitlemets is at record high.

Robert Braeking

Unemployment figures are manipulated, Jim. A true picture is shown in the labor force participation rate. It sharply declined during the Covid stupidity, but has not recovered to the level it was before Biden took office.

https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-situation/civilian-labor-force-participation-rate.htm

Carlos Ponce

And look for the labor force participation rate to decline with the massive layoffs announced by many companies due to the poor economy. Don't expect Team Biden to take responsibility for this decline but it is due to their policies. And don't expect Jim to understand any of this.

domenico nuckols

Carlos> You worship the Loser Trump and want to see him back in the WH. He wants to bring back the firing squads, hanging and group executions. Also, wants them made public. He is a sick puppy. But he’ll never make it back. Isn’t in your handbook not to worship a false god? https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-death-penalty-firing-squad-executions-1234679447/

domenico nuckols

Carlos> Truth, Loser Trump doesn’t tell the truth. Justice, only if you’re in Loser Trump’s orbit. American Way, Loser Trump wants to be a dictator.

Carlos Ponce

Demonico must have his own definition of truth different from the rest of the world.

Ed Buckner

Carlottabull sincerely believes that ridiculing someone's name and misspelling it counts as "argument" or "evidence." He (she? it?) is wrong about that as well as much else.

Carlos Ponce

Birdwatch fact-checkers part of Twitter's expanding Community Notes feature "added context" to yet another misleading White House tweet, countering that the U.S. lost more than 20 million jobs between mid-March 2020 and mid-April 2020 due to the government-mandated coronavirus shutdowns. So, in reality, it's simply adding those jobs back. Twitter users pointed out that many Americans have decided to give up on government handouts and head back to work after months of "pandemic vacation."

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/miacathell/2022/12/08/white-house-job-creations-fact-check-n2616903

domenico nuckols

Carlos> Just keep those blinders on.

Carlos Ponce

I have no blinders on, Demonico.

Ed Buckner

Carlottabull sincerely believes that ridiculing someone's name and misspelling it counts as "argument" or "evidence." He (she? it?) is wrong about that as well as much else.

domenico nuckols

I got over that when i was 10

Ed Buckner

Sophistication and maturity come to different people at different ages. Some manage it at 10 or 12; others never get there at all.

Ed Buckner

Robert Braeking is a careless, pointlessly insulting, ill-informed "debater" who pays little attention to what those who disagree with him even say, offers assertions as if they constituted evidence, considers the Bible as authoritative even though he doesn't seem to know what it actually says, and cannot tell the difference between me and Carlos Ponce. I've been in dozens of formal debates, across the whole country (and 4 in the United Kingdom), so I recognize a blowhard when I run across one. If Mr. Braeking wants to dispute any of what I've written here, let him specify which point he wants to start with and I'll demonstrate that my assertions are correct.

Carlos Ponce

Ed Buckner does not debate. He bullies. That's unacceptable in modern debates. What's next, a challenge to a duel?

Robert Braeking

I actually debated your website point by point. You failed to respond with other than typical pablum. BTW - I've been in dozens of tennis matches and cross country track meets in high school. That says nothing about the outcome of those athletic events. Neither does your participation in dozens of formal debates say anything about the outcome of those contests.

Ed Buckner

As already noted, "Carlottabull" sincerely believes that ridiculing someone's name and misspelling it counts as "argument" or "evidence." He (she? it?) is wrong about that as well as much else. I don't routinely mck people's names, but Carlos Ponce's invariable and deliberate, mocking, misspelling of Domenico's name renders making fun of Carlos's name an appropriate target for ridicule. But Mr. Ponce is of course not worthy of any serious debate on anything. He persists in believing that his preferred presidential candidate won in the 2020 presidential election despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. He claims to be a Bible-believing Christian, but he does not know that the Bible nowhere indicates that abortion is murder. And of course, he thinks that disagreeing with him or calling out his mistakes constitutes "bullying." And he emphatically does not understand debating. And he and his ilk--like Robert Braeking--don't deserve to be taken seriously.

Carlos Ponce

And Ed Buckner proves my point by BULLYING. No one in Galveston County takes the Georgia troll seriously. He's just a sad bully.

domenico nuckols

Carlos> I don’t think he’s bullying. You just can’t stand a different opinion.

Carlos Ponce

It's bullying.

Ed Buckner

I just had not fully realized it until now. Carlos is, really, just a ... silly... little... boy. Sad.

Carlos Ponce

Oh, Gee, Ed, I don't know what to say asides from THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT!

domenico nuckols

Getting slow Ed

Ed Buckner

Yeah, I know. Hard to believe I didn't fully realize before now just how pathetic he is.

Carlos Ponce

Self-flagellation won't help you, Ed. Try Christ!

Ed Buckner

Carlos Ponce is really bad at diagnosing my tendencies or needs and downright sacrilegious to ask someone to flagellate Jesus! Blasphemer!

Carlos Ponce

Ed is the one self flagellating. I'm not asking you to flagellate Christ, I'm recommending Him as a source of help and strength for you.

Ed Buckner

More of my bullying:

1. Trump lost--handily

2. The Bible nowhere condemns abortion as murder

Deal with it.

Carlos Ponce

Wrong on both parts, Ed.

Ed Buckner

Should easy enough to show why either is wrong, Carlos, if either really were. Both are quite correct, so probably no point in wasting your time. But, hey--give it a shot.

Carlos Ponce

Time will prove me right![beam]

Jim Forsythe

Unless Trump run again and wins, he will never be President again. He lost the last election, but he cannot accept the reality that he is a loser. Yes, Trump is a loser.

If you believe the tea reader you quote, you are not seeing the truth.

Carlos Ponce

I hope the GCDN keeps your post on their data base, Jim. It's going to be shown how gullible you are in accepting what the Lying Left tells you.

Jim Forsythe

Charlie Shamp — a bearded Christian “prophet” with a jet-black pompadour — appeared as a guest on the Jim Bakker Show last week to share a heavenly vision about Republican politics. And it wasn’t about Donald Trump. “We need to watch Ron DeSantis,” Shamp told the televangelist’s audience. “Because the Lord is going to use him in a powerful way.”

Shamp shared a “vision” he’d received of two palm trees —- one planted in California, the other in Florida. He’d asked, “Lord, who are these two palm trees?” And God responded: “This palm tree from California is Ronald Reagan. This palm tree that is in Florida is Ron DeSantis.”

The self-styled prophet said his vision presented the Florida governor as a “tree of righteousness” that God would replant in Washington D.C. to stand strong against “the storms.” Shamp then gave a bold prophetic word: “There’s something about Ron DeSantis that we need to begin to pray for. Because his ultimate future is to have a position in the United States as the president.”

Charismatic Christians offering prophecies about politics is not new. But for years, the divine visions of presidential triumph have centered on one man: Donald John Trump. Shamp’s shift to praise a new heavenly standard bearer in DeSantis marks the latest (terrestrial) sign that Trump is struggling to recapture the influential faith leaders who helped key his 2016 victory — and who stuck with him to the bitterest ends in 2021.

White evangelical Christians are the beating heart of the GOP base. Perhaps the wildest feat of Trump’s political career was convincing the fundamentalist faithful that he — a philandering, thrice-married, “p****” grabber — could advance the cause of Godliness in the White House. If this bloc were to lose faith in Trump, it could doom his dream of recapturing the GOP nomination.

By painting “Ronald” DeSantis as the second coming of the Ronald Regan he sent a strong signal that the prophetic Christian community is open to turning the page on Trump, in favor of a more authentic spiritual warrior.

Carlos Ponce

That's one, Jim. Now compare that to the hundreds of known who say otherwise.

Jim Forsythe

Jeremiah Johnson: From the TV screen in his living room, he watched as Donald Trump’s winning margin waned and sat stunned in disbelief.

Many assumed the former president would win reelection; Johnson was among the charismatic leaders in the US who had put God’s word behind it.

On the morning of November 4, as the country woke up to the news that Joe Biden was in the lead, Johnson sent out a “prophetic warning” to his mailing list, saying he and a “chorus of mature and tested prophets” were in agreement: Trump had won.

“Either a lying spirit has filled the mouths of numerous trusted prophetic voices in America or Donald J. Trump really has won the Presidency and we are witnessing a diabolical and evil plan unfold to steal the Election,” Johnson wrote to his followers. “I believe with all my heart that the latter is true.”

Today, Johnson cringes when he thinks back to that message.

Unlike those who continued to insist Trump won, by early 2021, Johnson had reversed course. Now he barely recognizes the person who wrote that email last year—and neither does his wife, staff, or close friends. Instead, he says, God graciously used the messy fallout over the failed Trump prophecies to begin a “catalytic, dramatic shift” in his life.

“I was as entrenched as anyone was,” Johnson said in one of his first media interviews since he publicly repented in January and shut down his namesake ministry in March. “I tell people I feel like I’ve been rescued—I feel the kindness of God; I feel his discipline. I’ve cried so many tears, just thanking the Lord for the wake-up call.”

Jim Forsythe

The “prophetic standards” that should be issued by charismatic leaders such as Michael Brown is to forever mark and avoid those who utter false prophecies as per Romans 16:17-18. So called NAR prophets, who pretend to speak for God, have proven time and time again that they are not only false prophets, but many of them are also narcissistic money-grubbing charlatans. The Body of Christ is admonished to “take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11.

(Julia Duin) After an embarrassing number of wrong prophecies and bungled predictions about the 2020 election, a group of charismatic Christian leaders have released a four-page statement of “prophetic standards” to help correct abuses in the movement.

The statement, released April 29 on the newly created propheticstandards.com, is the work of 85 Christian ministry heads, preachers, academics, denominational officials, authors, revivalists, evangelists and other participants in what’s been called the prophetic movement, a subset of Pentecostal Christianity.

The movement came into much disrepute in recent months after scores of prophets incorrectly prophesied that former President Donald Trump would win a second term, while failing to prophesy major events such as COVID-19 and the storming of the U.S. Capitol. A handful that later apologized for the false prophecies said they received thousands of angry emails, and in the case of North Carolina prophet Jeremiah Johnson, death threats.

Carlos Ponce

The handful who apologized weren't true prophets. Many were just copying what the true prophets were saying. A true prophet would not back down from the word the Lord gave them.

"incorrectly prophesied that former President Donald Trump would win a second term" When truth is revealed.........

"while failing to prophesy major events such as COVID-19 and the storming of the U.S. Capitol"

Those were prophesied by the true prophets, Jim.

Robin Bullock correctly revealed the pandemic on April 30, 2019: "I think it's some kind of sickness, some kind of plague ... some kind of sickness, a plague. ..... but this is an international thing and we really need to pray against this right now," he said on his Youtube channel "The Eleventh Hour".

The prophets knew about January 6th instigated by by the FBI. They warned President Trump who called for the National Guard. But Pelosi had the final word and she nixed the idea. The Liberals who say Pelosi didn't have the authority are lying.
