As a member of the Friendswood Independent School District school board since 2008, I understand how important the values of honesty and integrity are to our communities. That's why I'm supporting Billy Enochs for Galveston County Commissioner of Precinct 4.

In 2001, Tropical Storm Allison brought torrential rain and flooding to Galveston County. Ken Clark had already been on commissioners court for several years by then. Since then, Galveston County has seen explosive growth and development in the north and west parts of the county. Growth and development that would be expected to worsen any future flooding. And yet, Ken Clark did nothing. The catastrophic flooding brought by Hurricane Harvey to Friendswood and Dickinson was made worse by his inaction.

Billy Enochs is a leader who is engaged in, and cares about our communities. He sends his children to local public schools and is not looking to become a career politician. He will provide the necessary leadership to directly address our problems, like flooding, by working with city governments in the county to come up with practical solutions that are fiscally prudent and financially sound.

For a better Galveston County, please join me in supporting Billy Enochs for Galveston County commissioner.
