Since Galveston ISD reconfigured the district to remove fifth-graders from the elementary schools and since they have opened “schools of choice,” there has been no significant improvement in our children’s education. The Texas Education Agency records show that GISD still ranks fifth in "Student Achievement" among Galveston County schools districts.

Gerrymandering students and manipulating testing for achievement ratings is not educating children. Our children need to be taught how to read, write and gain fundamental math skills. Teachers need support in and out of the classroom. To do that, we need new board members who are passionate about real education and GISD, are committed to real change and who have the courage to lead without concern for their popularity or impact on their income.

For District 6-F, that person is Sandra Tetley. She has the courage, experience and intelligence to work to make the changes GISD needs to truly educate our children. Please vote for Sandra Tetley for GISD school board District 6-F.

The leading is a best thing if its done correctly. Some people think that leading is just ruling on others but the leading in real is to guide others and take them with you towards the success. towing services near me
