I'll never understand how liberals get things so twisted in their heads! E G Wiley

If you know your Bible you would realize that caring for the poor, the widowed and the orphaned is an individual's responsibility, not the state's. And yet we have a party whose solution is to eliminate them before they are even born and then make those who survive wards of the state. That same party keeps repeating "separation of church and state" as if it were a phrase taken out of the Constitution (it is not) and yet want the state to carry out their religious responsibility.

As far as taking care of our tax dollars, the Trump tax cuts have resulted in an increase in tax revenue. The Liberal House is responsible for the omnibus bill that increased our deficit and national debt. If the Republican Senate and President had stopped it with its pork barrel mandates they would have been blamed for stopping the government. The Liberal press would then trot out those affected to continue the blame game even though it is only a small percentage of the total government.

Preach!!!! Preach!!!!! Lay it down where not only the squirrels can get to it, but also where the giraffes can get their portion too!

Yes Carlos> When workers earn more they pay more taxes. When the tax rate falls the take home increases. When the take home increases the spending increases. When earnings increase so does giving, taxes, spending, savings. All is now America's way again. Citizens earning more, spending more, saving more and giving more don't need government freebies and this has progressives frantic. With Trump President America is becoming a country needing nothing from progressives.

The State has to step in because today’s Christians don’t do a very good job at this. (Me included.)

Scribes and pharisees plotted to destroy Jesus and his followers. Liberals have expelled Jesus from public schools and other public spaces. Democrats booed when the voice vote to include God and support for Jerusalem in the Democrat Party Platform was determined by Chairman Antonio Villaraigosa to be favorable. If these are not your views, don't vote for that party.

what about separation of church and state Carl? Why should the government be influenced by theology and not what is best for its citizens. The role of the federal government is to provide for its citizens, not just the ones who are deemed worthy by a select group.

Carlos Ponce

No such phrase as "separation of church and state " in the US Constitution. There is an Amendment stating no state religion. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The DNC and Congress are NOT the same and no religion is established. And how is recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital establishing a religion? But not to worry. The DNC approved those changes proposed by President Obama.

jimmy winston

What document is the first amendment amending Carlo? Its amending the US constitution. I dont believe anything you just said about the DNC. I need some type of source to the outrageous claims you are making, but like a typical Trumpet you dont seem to care about facts!

Carlos Ponce

AMENDMENT ONE: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof....

It was the DNC voting to add the words GOD and JERUSALEM to their party platform. Since the DNC is not Congress, it's acceptable and it was voted in by the DNC despite the booing crowds. Can you find the phrase "separation of church and state" ANYWHERE in the US Constitution? It is not there.

Are you debating whether this happened?

No good ever came from theocracy, and anyone who claims to know God's will is self-deluded. I'm surprised to hear myself saying this, but Rick Perry is no fool - he's just playing the Trump violin for an audience of one. Praise is cheap, and a good investment in his future.

Charles Douglas

Well, since I am already an Irredeemable Deplorable, and a Cult-Member according to the LEFT, I might just as well be SELF-DELUDED too. I read about a man once, who was very educated and smart. The problem with him was that he did not know everything, and because of his PRIDE, when he heard about a man who knew more than him, he made a secret journey to speak with that man under the cover of darkness! There the visiting man found out that "IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DONT KNOW,......YOU JUST DON'T KNOW.[beam]

Gary Miller

Charles> Those who learn nothing because they think they know everything already are called Democrats.

Gary Scoggin

That’s a pretty silly statement.

Carlos Ponce

Bailey, God's will is evident when you read and believe the Bible.[beam]

Bailey Jones

and....there it is.[innocent]

Gary Scoggin

Funny how we’ve both read it and have come to different conclusions. Are you right, am I right, or are we both right? Or are neither of us right?

Carlos Ponce

God is right, God is good, ALL THE TIME !!!![beam]

Sounds like you are excoriating and trying to make a FOOL out of God by insinuating on the "cool" that the Word Of God is not coherent or understandable, ...that it's floating out there in the wind meaning anything a man wants it to mean! That is a cop-out and you either know it or you have reason to know it. We have, ...we who are believers, have the Earnest of The Spirit here ( Holy Spirit )(Ephesians 1: 13-14, ) to be our teacher, counselor, comforter, and to help us to use the word effectively! God cannot lie, ( Hebrews 6:12-19 )..and his word or promise to us are immutable, along with the oath guaranteeing his word WILL not come back to him void...because he watches over it to perform it Isaiah 55:11 & Jeremiah 1:12! Ephesians 1:9 says God having Made known to us the MYSTERY OF HIS WILL, ACCORDING TO HIS GOOD PLEASURE, which he hath purposed in himself. Now.... let it not be said again that we, ..as Christians do not know God's will!!!! If we don't know God's will it is because WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW IT! That's on the individual and his/her drive to learn. There are millions of individuals who don't want to learn nor understand the Word, and that is fine with me and I think with God also, but let's not mislead others who do. Now nobody has to AMEN this,.. this one is on the house!

Charles Douglas

"God is right, God is good, ALL THE TIME!!!" Amen to that Mr. PONCE!
