I have worked with Sandra Tetley for four years in response to the National Park Service declaration that the historic Apollo Mission Control was being listed as an "endangered facility." Tetley assumed the government responsibility to "Save Mission Control" and I was proud to be a member of her team.

She is an astute and perceptive leader willing to challenge the system in addressing critical needs and focusing on an objective. In her work she established solid, effective and productive relationships at both the state and national levels to support the restoration of Apollo Mission Control to the "as it was" configuration the day we took Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the surface of the moon.

The teams of Mission Control were partners with Sandra in accomplishing this critical work. Without reservation, I endorse Sandra for membership on the Galveston ISD school board.
