Thank You Lethia

You know when I read Gary Miller's frequent right wing rants and conspiracy theories I often wonder if he has cornered the market on tinfoil and tinfoil hats in Texas City

Craig Mason

Stuart Crouch

That makes two of us! And if so, it's not too difficult to see who he shares them with on here. 😁

Gary Miller

David> If watching something live on TV isn't a eye witness account it's as close as it can get. Tin foil is hard to find since aluminum replaced it. I heard the head of the Biden crime family had cornered that market.

Bailey Jones

Why believe in America when you can believe in Trump?

Carlos Ponce

I believe in GOD! Trump is just one of God's servants who is doing His will.

Jim Forsythe

I believe in GOD! Joe Biden is just one of God's servants who is doing His will.

Carlos Ponce

Even Satan believes in God. Do you follow His commands? Big Question is why vote for a party that condones the taking of innocent lives, something God abhors?

Gary Miller

Bailey> One and same. Loving one is loving both.

Bailey Jones

No Gary. When The Leader and the Nation are the same - that's autocracy.

"L'etat c'est moi" - Louis XIV

Jarvis Buckley

Carlos truer words were never spoken. Your unyielding fight for our country has brought you under severe criticism by our liberal friends.

Yet you keep speaking the truth in support of our country & our country’s best President.

You are an amazing person.

Gary Miller

Jarvis> You are one of Carlos's friends.

Gary Miller

Hebert and I agree with the majority of Americans. 83 % of Republicans and 40% of Democrats, 123 % of Americans, are convinced the 2020 election was/is stolen.

Mike Zeller

Gary Miller, now I understand why your vote totals don't jive with the real numbers, 123%. [beam] [beam] [beam] [beam] [beam] The new math.

Gary Miller

Mike> 123% is more than half. With 52 % of independents it is 175 % of 330 million citizens..

Ted Gillis

Quit kidding yourself Carlos, Trump is nobody's servant, not even GOD's.

Carlos Ponce

Ted, you're just kidding yourself.

Thomas Carpenter

I prayed to Lord Kon Tiki Viracocha before the election, and he answered my prayers.

Carlos Ponce

Whatever.

David Hardee

Lethia evidently has no eyes or ears (deaf and blind) to publish such a totally opinion-oriented article.

There are some simple facts these types of articles ignore because those facts make all the denigrating, they spew about Trump irrelevant in comparison to the result of the Trump Presidency.

1 Trump accomplished more in his 4 years that improve the lives of the general public, the safety of the country by stifling the ISIS, North Koreans, Iran, and other adversaries, all while being hounded by false accusations from the swamp.

2. Any that do not realize that Trump's pursuing the path to investigate the 2020 presidential election anomalies and highly suspect is either stupid or chose to ignore that the greatest service to our country is to delve into those anomalies and purify the election processes for the future tranquility of our society.

Lethia and the approval commentators obviously ascribe to and believe that this election had a legitimate result. We should all hate having any distrust in the legitimacy of the election process. But hating our doubt does not remove the facts that from the information available before the election and the now exposed revelations there is unreasonable and suspicious timing at least.

We are a society on the brink of total entrenchment along political fronts. This diametrically opposed state of anger needs and must be investigated, litigated and exposed to a trusted resolution before the USA is consumed with civil disobedience and physical conflict.

Full exposure of the people and their intents for all the anomalies will be a much-needed draining of all the swamps that are corrupting us to not trust the institutions and the culprit within.

Bailey Jones

"This diametrically opposed state of anger needs and must be investigated, litigated and exposed to a trusted resolution." The last 5 weeks have been exactly this, David.

David Hardee

Assuming your “5 weeks” refers to the unsuccessful attempts to prove the election was corrupt by using the courts to produce authorization to delay the current electoral outcome until the further and deeper investigation is completed, right?

It is ultimate naivete to think that the 74millions are trusting these institutions of ill-repute, filled with the most untrustworthy bureaucrats and scurrilous investigators, enabled with a media that is the most responsible for parsing reporting that created the division of our society.

Whether this election was or was not, in general, an honest result is less consequential to the tranquility of society than would be the convincing public display and reprimand of those that, with intention, created the atmosphere of mass suspicion. That public display will be having under oath, the principal culprits, testify. Culprits that with intention withheld and or delayed information to cause public influence and perceptions. Culprits that had liaisons with conspirators of foreign powers. Culprits that intentionally stifled selectively the publishing of "freedom of speech" over the social networks. Culprits that by illegal means changed the long-standing rules that regulated how elections were conducted. Only then will 2016 polluted and the 2020 polluted elections be brought to a "trusted resolution" and the swamp creatures be subjected to the at minimum shame they deserve.

Bailey, at every opportunity you display narrowness and inability to see the big picture. This is no time for celebration.

David

Bailey Jones

I agree David - those who have created the atmosphere of mass suspicion should be brought into the light. Giuliani, Hannity, Carlson, that crazy drunk woman in Michigan, and I'll include everyone in this forum who has been perpetuating this repeatedly debunked myth of voter fraud, and the liar-in-chief they all worship, have done tremendous - perhaps irreversible - damage to our democracy. I knew that he was going to destroy the Republican Party and do damage to our national institutions, but I never dreamed that he would come so close to destroying our democracy. 75% of Republicans have lost faith in our democratic process. Millions of them apparently seem content to toss out the results of the election and install their own demagogue. How can democracy continue?

I also agree that this is no time for celebration. It would be if I thought this nonsense was finally over. But it will never be over - because of the moral rot that still sits in the White House. But at least for the next four years, he won't be sucking the soul out of the whole nation, just the Republican Party. After four years of watching him destroy everything I believe in, everything that made America great, I think I'm entitled to a little jig.

David Hardee

Why do you incessantly attempt to make some nonsensical change in an attempt to confuse the subject point?

Whether you call it policy, accomplishment or result, if it is for the good of the general public it is Trump's to own as the prime force.

As a matter of fact, calling these accomplishments “policies” precisely makes these good for the public acts, even more, owned by Trump since he set policy without the necessity of cooperation from any other entity. Incidentally, to who do you give credit for the “Warp Speed” vaccine, and the good design handling and distribution project?

You act as if you know Trump's intentions, personally. Your only true insight into the man is what you glean from his rhetoric (rhetoric definition = language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect on its audience, but often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content) .and those that interpret him with their presumption that they feed to those who will swallow it. You and your ilk are feed voluminous amounts of negative feed and get fattened to nausea that creates hatred.

You say, “My disgust isn't about policy, it's about the person.” Then you produce a litany of Trumps abuses i.e he doesn’t read books, he restricts immigration, needs sycophants, debased the presidency, is petty, lacks moral principle, and “doesn’t see the value of truth, or fact, or science, who knows little - and worse, has no interest in learning, who - as my dad would say, "knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." All your quibbling’s are personal/personality based. So, I reiterate that your qualifications for veracity about Trump is based on what you glean and the voluminous amounts of negative feed that create hatred.

Read your books Bailey, and gorge on the swill of the progressive liberal pollution emitting from the pseudo-media and ignore the facts on what really matters - good policy that produces achievement for the general public,

Do your jig on top of the 79million ballots (some had legitimate voters) while the 74million will continue to struggle to keep our country on the path to MAGA.

David

David Hardee

Your little jig is being done on the sickbed of a society once known as the best hope of humanity. Anywho cannot identify some of their culpability in contributing to the corruption of our society is beyond redemption. When all that individual can contribute is disgusting rhetoric laced with venomous name-calling that individual less than useless.

Bailey the most bewildering of your comment is embodied in this sentence – “After four years of watching him destroy everything I believe in, everything that made America great “We know your belief that Trump is “liar in chief”, that his supporters have done damage to our democracy and you believe America was great once before Trump.

Bailey, we all (including you) know that during the 4 years while you say he destroyed your beliefs, that Trump did reduce unemployment, raise the income level of the medium families, normalized the middle east Arab and Jewish relations, eliminated ISIS, stifled the terrorist activities of IRAN, brought American prisoner home, resurrected the military, stopped the illegal immigrant caravans and insurgent across our border, made NATO members pay their portion, resurrected NASA and started Space force, exercise actions that reduced the degree of effects from the China virus, put the nation under war legislation to produce the needed medical equipment to combat the China virus. put the military in service to deliver hospital ships to aid NY. brought the price of gasoline down and made America independent and the world biggest producer of oil, and I conclude with Trump put in place the project “Warp Speed” which brought together the Military’s best logistic General who has designed the delivery system, paid heavily to stimulate all the pharmaceutical companies, pressed the bureaucracies to expedite validation process and spent all the necessary money trying to save lives

I could go on, but I will stop here and ask that you do as good a job telling us exactly those “everything I (you believed in” that Trump destroyed.

Do not give us your normal innuendo bitching. State your premise with examples or suffer humiliation.

David

Bailey Jones

David, what you list as accomplishments are policy. I while ago I was challenged to reveal "ANYTHING" that this president had done that I saw in a positive light. I had no problem rattling off a dozen examples of policies and actions that I agreed with. https://www.galvnews.com/news/article_08f442d1-75cd-56c2-abf7-d4441bfc99b5.html

My disgust isn't about policy, it's about the person. This is a man who apparently hasn't read a book in decades, who spreads misinformation and disinformation about anything and everything, who replaced principled policy with the basest form of transactionalism, who turned America's back on refugees, who denigrated immigrants and cut legal immigration to the lowest levels in years, who can only bear the presence of sycophants, who insults our allies, who comforts extremists, who debased the presidency by reducing the office to his person, who put pettiness ahead of patriotism, who believes that strength comes not from moral principle but force, who doesn't see the value of truth, or fact, or science, who knows little - and worse, has no interest in learning, who - as my dad would say, "knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."

I managed to make it through Reagan, and Bush, and second Bush, without ever feeling the need to comment in a newspaper. While I rarely agreed with their policies, I never doubted their humanity, empathy, patriotism, and fitness for office. Not so with this man.

This isn't about Republicanism or conservatism. It's about demagoguery and the destruction of our democracy.

Setting aside all the evil that he has done - starting with the Muslim ban and ending with pepper-spraying kids to clear the way for a photo op - what he has done in the past few months will guarantee his place as "worst president ever". Because what he has done - from his pre-election delegitimation of our electoral process to his post-loss continued delegitimation of our electoral process - is to destroy faith and trust in our electoral institutions - the bedrock foundation of our democracy. Why did he do this? Because he lacks the moral character required to concede. And it presages a very dark time for our democracy.

I don't expect that you will be satisfied with this response. My arguments rarely meet the narrow guidelines you seem to require. But that's fine. I'm not writing for you.

Today is the 100th birthday of George Shultz (the public servant, not the cartoonist.) He wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post today. I was not always a fan, but 100 years of living in America makes his wisdom worth considering.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/12/11/10-most-important-things-ive-learned-about-trust-over-my-100-years/

“In God we trust. Yes, and when we are at our best, we also trust in each other. Trust is fundamental, reciprocal and, ideally, pervasive. If it is present, anything is possible. If it is absent, nothing is possible. The best leaders trust their followers with the truth, and you know what happens as a result? Their followers trust them back. With that bond, they can do big, hard things together, changing the world for the better."

Jarvis Buckley

It appears Biden is going to be our President.

Jarvis Buckley

He will be my President.

Bailey Jones

Jarvis, I genuinely believe he will try.

Trump Named ‘Loser Of The Year’ By German News Magazine Der Spiegel

“Trump’s presidency ends as it began: Without decency and without dignity,” Der Spiegel declared.

Carlos Ponce

German magazine? Who cares what a Leftist German newspaper writes?

"Der Spiegel is a left-wing German weekly news magazine published in Hamburg." - Wiki

No wonder why Thomas Carpenter reads it. It's Leftist just like him. What's next, Is Thomas Carpenter going to give us a quote from Pravda or The Chinese People's Daily?

Thomas Carpenter

That's all you have "left", Mr. Ponce. Name calling. You still haven't answered that young girl's question: Why is it okay with you and Miller that she runs around scared all the time? Perhaps you can consult the oracle for an answer?

Carlos Ponce

Calling balls and strikes, Thomas Carpenter. And in your case "outs" as well.

Thomas Carpenter

Wait until Monday, Mr. Ponce. The electoral college will label Trump a loser. You might find that a bit more palatable!

Carlos Ponce

I won't worry about man's deadlines. And if you knew about previous SCOTUS decisions in previous elections you would know that Monday's Electoral posting can be changed.

Jim Forsythe

Carlos, after Mondays vote, the deal will be sealed. You are not going to get 37 Democratic electors, in the states that allow it ( 17 states and most are Republican), to change their vote from Biden to Trump. If you think it is possible, it's not going to happen. Why would a Democratic slate of electors, that were elected by Democrats, vote for Trump?

"33 states and the District of Columbia have laws upheld by the Supreme Court that prohibit faithless electors.

The electoral slates are selected by their respective parties. "Where Biden won the most votes in a state, the Democratic slate of electors gets to cast a vote. In states where Trump got more votes, the Republican slate of electors will cast the votes. These electors are not random people- they are party loyalists and activists who are selected because of their commitment to the party."

July 2020 the US Supreme Court ruled unanimously against the 2016 faithless electors, who had claimed the Founding Fathers had meant for an elector’s choice to be a matter of discretion.

Carlos Ponce

"Carlos, after Mondays vote, the deal will be sealed." FALSE.

Jim Forsythe

Carlos, if the deal will not be sealed Monday, what is the path for Trump to overcome the votes he will lack Monday?

He already tried the lower courts and bombed out. The Supreme Court told him no.

Are you suggesting a coup?

All that is happening now is his group is losing support from Independents and some Republican's.

The long this goes on, the more voters will defect to the other party.

As you will not have a answer as to the path, all you will say is wait or God has a plan.

“Duty is ours, events are God’s”

“At some point, we have to be that nation of laws,” Senator Bill Cassidy, Republican of Louisiana, said on Fox, as he sought to instill confidence among fellow Republicans that the election had been decided fairly, and in Mr. Biden’s favor.

Representative Adam Kinzinger, Republican of Illinois, was harsher, warning his party on Twitter against excesses like the secession talk thrown around on Friday by Texas G.O.P. chairman Allen West or any further efforts by Republicans to stoke false hopes among their voters.

“I want to be clear: the Supreme Court is not the deep state,” Mr. Kinzinger wrote in one tweet. “The case had no merit and was dispatched 9-0. There was no win here. Complaining and bellyaching is not a manly trait, it’s actually sad. Real men accept a loss with grace.”

Carlos Ponce

Jim, sit back and watch God work.

Thomas Carpenter

Here's one from Al Jazeera: "Trump’s fantasy about “massive election fraud,” repeated by Republican lawmakers and amplified by right-wing media, is an incitement to violence for groups already predisposed to hatred and conspiracy thinking."

Thomas Carpenter

Here's one from Pravda to Trump, and Kudos to Bailey Jones for his Shakespeare quote: "Your failure to appear, to make a rousing speech and to set in motion events to reckon the nation against its enemies was simply unconscionable.

This was the equivalent of Julius Caesar reaching the Rubicon and choosing to shoot dice in his tent.

And finally, the Chinese Daily: Hate has been on the rise in America in recent years and studies have shown a clear correlation between Trump-related rhetoric and reports of hate. It is evidence that Trump’s harmful rhetoric can have harmful consequences in the real world, especially in the middle of a global pandemic that has taken a heavy toll on America.

Gary Miller

300,000 pandemic dead value shrinks when 4.5 million American citizens die each year for all reasons. Old Age alone kills more than the virus.

Gary Miller

I Gary Miller have not, unless TV vidieo's count, any eye witness accounts of Democrats stealing the election. However Trump's legal team does have over 2,000 sworn eye witness affidavits of election fraud.

Ted Gillis

There are no TV videos showing fraud. There are however several videos of people claiming to have seen fraud including the drunk woman, with Rudy by her side.

Go ahead and take that one to the Supreme Court.

Carlos Ponce

Ted is posting, "I see NOTHING! NOTHING!"

The video from Georgia shows fraud.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJ0xDWhWUxk

But Ted sees NOTHING! NOTHING!

Jim Forsythe

As the lady said, this has been debunked.

The votes have been counted, and Biden is the winner. This means that Trump is the loser.

Carlos Ponce

Sit back and watch God at work.

Bailey Jones

Thanks for posting this "evidence", Carlos. It perfectly illustrates how fake these accounts of "fraud" are, and how gullible you have to be to believe them. Guiliani & co. took an innocent surveillance video, sliced out a few seconds of it, and called it fraud. It wasn't. It's the oldest conspiracy BS trick in the book. I'm actually a little surprised you fell for it. You must have lost your ability to use a search engine.

Now please join the rest of us in congratulating our new president and vice president, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Carlos Ponce

Sit back and watch God at work, Bailey.

David Hardee

Bailey, try a few of these videos. Tit for tat only proves that the election processes had serious problems and suspicion and the open potential for extreme fraud. Any Idiot would at least admit that RIGHT.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG2RkKBHX0M

Bailey Jones

David, I'm not the one you need to convince. That would be the courts, or the DOJ, or the FBI, or state attorneys general. I'll keep saying this until you get tired of hearing it - if there is real evidence of a real crime, have an investigation, issue some indictments, arrest some people, and put them on trial. To date, the president with the unlimited resources of his government has not been able to provide any evidence that any judge has taken seriously. In literally DOZENS of cases. How many times can one man cry wolf and still be believed?

I'm actually amazed that no one has been able to produce proof of any fraud - because I'm sure that small scale fraud happens all the time in elections. And yet this president has not been able to. It's as if what his CISA chief, and bipartisan governors and secretaries of state, and judges, and even his own AG have all said is true - there is no evidence that Joe Biden didn't win this election.

I don't believe in Bigfoot. You can show me 2000 affidavits from people who swear they saw Bigfoot, but until I see an actual foot, or tuft of hair, or a bone, that DNA analysis says is an unknown species, I'm not going to believe it. No one should.

I'm not difficult to convince. Show me evidence of a crime sufficient to get the attention of a judge, and persuasive enough to sway a jury, and I'll believe it. That's how our justice system works. That's why we have a justice system.

Carlos Ponce

"I'm actually amazed that no one has been able to produce proof of any fraud..."

Bailey, have you ever seen a nail-in ballot after it's been sent? It's too big even for the envelope provided. It has to be FOLDED IN HALF! When they were given thousands of "mail-ins" to count and there was NO FOLD CREASE even those with low mental capacity know it was not mailed in. Bailey says "SHAZAM! the fold magically disappeared!"

There is none so blind as he who will not see.

Carlos Ponce

Bailey, most of the proof of fraud probably goes over your head but the lack of a crease in a mail-in should be obvious.

Bailey Jones

lol - I take this new allegation as evidence that you accept that your previous allegations had no merit.

Again, Carlos, if you have convincing evidence of fraud, take it to the courts for adjudication. This particular allegation was litigated in the case L. LIN WOOD, JR. v BRAD RAFFENSPERGER. The case was rejected by Republican federal judge Steven D. Grimberg, a Trump appointee. The case was appealed to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, where Chief judge William H. Pryor Jr., a Republican appointed by George W Bush, upheld the lower court's verdict.

Ted Gillis

Was this witnessed by drunk woman Mellissa Caron, or did someone just make this stuff up Carlos? Do you realize how many people would need to be involved to pull off something like this? The planning would have to involve several layers of government, which is not feasible, expecting everyone to stay hushed up. Again you are expecting a judge to believe in just a speculation? And you can’t ask the courts to prove something “didn’t” happen either. That’s not how the system works.

Find your witness, with proof and have them come forward to the authorities for investigation. That’s how it works.

Carlos Ponce

The video is there. You have seen yet are not believing.

Bailey Jones

"The Electoral College has spoken. So today I want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden. The president-elect is no stranger to the Senate. He's devoted himself to public service for many years. I also want to congratulate the vice president-elect, our colleague from California. Beyond our differences, all Americans can take pride that our nation has a female vice president-elect for the very first time." - Mitch McConnell

Putin also sent his congratulations.

I think that's just about everyone but Carlos and Jesus.

Carlos Ponce

DEWEY WINS! proclaims Bailey.
