The Founding Fathers of our America were mere men with a common purpose. They were brought together by the tyrannical and oppressive practices of the King of England. These imperfect men were able to form “a more perfect union.” They were able to rise above their imperfections and create a more perfect way of life.
They were truthful and foresaw the need for documents that help protect us from the evils that can reside in the heart of all mankind.
They were good men despite their imperfections. There is great strength and truth in acknowledging your weaknesses. These good men were led by the hand of Divine Providence whether they knew it or not. The Civil War was fought for many reasons not the least of which being the abolishment of slavery — with such a good and noble cause — Divine Guidance was assured.
My use of the words like Divine Providence (and others) will cause some to cast my words into the trash heaps of their ignorance and hatred; whether I like it or not. There is certainly enough hatred to go around these days, some hidden, and some openly displayed.
The hatred so unabashedly displayed against President Donald Trump by people saying he’s a racist and/or a Nazi is so untrue and ignorant that it reeks of the same stench as the words racist and Nazi.
We also have senators and representatives calling for the impeachment and up to advocating the assassination of a duly elected president, their racism and hatred is there for all to see, but you do not see it reported in a dishonest and agenda driven press and media; they refuse to acknowledge the racism in their own backyard.
When Barack Obama was elected; I did not agree, not because of his color, but because color, colored his life. He had a 20-year relationship with a pastor and church that preached “not God bless America,” but “God damn America.” Also his association with America-hating Bill Ayers. Even with all my doubts, I hoped he would be good for America — I certainly admired his gift of oratory. If President Obama would have done the things in his first term, that he did in his second, he would have never been re-elected.
Black Lives Matter, called for the murder of law enforcement; invited to the White House. Al Sharpton, a known race baiter; access to the White House. Attempted to humanize Muslim extremism by comparing it to the thousand year old inhumane Christian crusades; just a few examples.
Anyone with the cerebral matter of a flea knows the racial hatred and history of the Nazis — they are easy to hate. They have zero influence with true Americans that love America and its founding documents. When they raise their odorant little heads, the left grabs them and bashes their political opponents. “It is better to suffer for truth than prosper by falsehood.”
Thank you President Trump for speaking the truth. Hatred, racism and violence has many, many faces.
