Stephen, you seem to be lacking information otherwise your superior intellect would be able to determine that ANTIFA not Trump was responsible for the DC riot.

Gary Scoggin

I find it amazing that otherwise intelligent people hold on to the Antifa myth.

Bailey Jones

A lot of otherwise intelligent people believe stupid things. I knew a very bright engineer in grad school who didn't believe that the speed of light could not be exceeded - because Jesus.

I think it's because people look to authorities for their information. So you might get through college believing everything the professors tell you, then switch on the radio and believe everything a popular talking head tells you. Or what your preacher tells you. Or what your president tells you. Or what Q tells you.

It's a simple job to look at all of the arrests - as of last Saturday, 235 of them - and see who these people are. But, of course, that would mean accepting the fact that the insurrectionists were overwhelmingly Trump supporters who came to DC because they believed in #worldsbiggestloser's Big Lie. And since believing that is not acceptable, they don't look.

Carlos Ponce

Jesus is faster than the speed of Light.

Bailey, who in these forums quotes Q? Only the Leftist who seem to be very familiar with whatever it is.

Is is it part of the LGBTQanon?

Carlos Ponce

No myth, Gary Scoggin. Too bad you have been indoctrinated by the mainstream media. Look beyond the Leftist spin.

Myth: It was an ARMED insurrection. MISLEADING.

An analysis of the list of those arrested and the charges show mostly misdemeanor trespassing charges. Only a handful have been charged with violent acts against the Capitol Building and Capitol police. How many were charged with possession of firearms? NONE. They are using a loose definition of "armed" to include possession of pepper spray, body armor, etc. The only people on the Hill with a firearm were the Capitol Hill Police.

Myth: Officer Brian Sicknick was killed after struck by a fire extinguisher. FALSE.

This myth was spread by the LYING New York Times. There was an officer hit by a fire extinguisher but it was not officer Sicknick. A medical report showed NO BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA on Sicknick. They are not releasing the final autopsy but the officer's family believe it was either a stroke or heart attack possibly brought on by inhaling tear gas.

Myth: All those arrested were Trump supporters. FALSE.

John Sullivan, AKA Jayden X, runs a militant left-wing organization called Insurgence USA and has been identified in previous arrests as working with BLM and Antifa.

Others arrested show NO political affiliation and not even voting on November 3rd.

Was Trump responsible for the DC riot? No.

Gary Scoggin

All will be revealed, Carlos. Be patient and listen to the profits.

Carlos Ponce

I'll listen to the prophets. The profits are traceable to those who aided Democrats steal.

Carlos Ponce

Gary Scoggin must not have listened to the Senate hearings on the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot. Nothing Trump said instigated the events. This was all pre-planned. The police chief said those involved arrived with climbing gear hours before the speech was even given. The House owes President Trump a huge apology.

DANIEL PICKETT

Welcome back, Carlos. I was concerned about your welfare when you weren't posting last week.

Carlos Ponce

No electricity, no phone service, no water, computer died. Still need to get house leaks repaired before I get water.

Charles Douglas

The "Goat" is back!!!! Hear Ye...Hear Ye....the "Goat" has returned!!! He probably was organizing the Trump Patriots of which I am a member!

Trump/ Cruz in 2024 !!!!!![beam]

Craig Mason

You are funny Robert

Paula Flinn

Senator Ted Cruz is a manipulative liar. He has no feelings for the people he should be serving. He has no heart, and he lies when it’s convenient. He should resign for supporting the Jan. 6th disruption of VP Pence counting of electors. It was laughable to see him questioning Judge Garland about integrity, something Judge Garland has, and Sen. Cruz does not.

Charles Douglas

Judge Garland is a "SWAMP Creature" ready to do whatever the "Communist Junta" which is NOW in charge of running this country, tells him to do! I did not listen to his conformation hearing long because I can't stand to watch BS for a long time! Garland could not answer easy questions Senator Kennedy from Louisiana asked him without, stammering, fending, and lying! Somebody said Obama called him a Moderate, yeah, he is about as moderate as Beijing Joe who don't think minorities can use computers! I Don't blame him for that though, with the quality of schools he has help facilitate for minorities over the years. Even now... he wants to keep schools closed to stop the spreading of COVID, when he has opened the Southern Border up to anybody, from ANYWHERE, who can get here and illegally cross over! I suspect when there are great numbers crossing over coming from Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, or the Dominican Republic, he will personally get out there and help build that wall up to shut those crossings off! Yes sir, that will be the last thing Ole Joe want to see! It will jolt him back to the days he spent with those RACIST DIXICRATS, in the Senate who ran with, and sympathized with the KKK!

Diane Turski

Paula, well said! [thumbup]

Carlos Ponce

Paula, are you aware Democrats objected to electors in 2001, 2005, 2017?

Did you see the Senate hearing on Garland? I am glad he never made it to the Supreme Court. So unaware of current issues.

Paula, your HATRED is evident.

Ted Gillis

Carlos, hanging on to his lone infiltrator theory, and trying to soften up the fact that all others in attendance at the Capital riot are somehow less guilty because of this one BLM cat being amongst them.

Carlos Ponce

Ted, there is no "lone " infiltrator. You are sadly ignorant if you believe everyone charged in the Capitol riot was a Trump supporter. Some were and each will pay the penalty. But the rest..... it's time to get informed.

Stuart Crouch

And the desperation continues. Jeezus, let go of the idea that the magical, mystical "Antifa" had anything to do with the murderous insurrection at our nation's capitol. That "Next Big Lie" just isn't getting any traction like you deflecting Republicans hoped that it would. The only people that believe something so incredibly stupid, are you, the Republicans. Some of you manufacture the lies, some of you perpetuate them, until all of you believe them. It really is pitiful.

First, there was the "Big Lie" about "voting irregularities". All started by one deranged guy, who just happened to be your messiah. He repeated it enough, using/abusing a platform that was entrusted to him. He repeated it enough, sowing the seeds of doubt in the little minds of all of the sore losers, conspiracy theorists and others that remained in denial. A notable effort there, but truth and all things truly American, good and wholesome won out in the end. Though it was not without a last minute attempt to violently overthrow the democracy and long-established governmental institutions; a murderous affair that has resulted in at least five deaths, one a police officer, whom you claim to support. Oh, the irony. Now, a recount from an officer there, who revealed that these fine Republicans were beating officers and trying to stab them in then face with the pole (spear) from a "Blue Lives Matter" flag. I really needn't try and describe how abhorrent your party has become. Recognizing that most all of the crimes committed that day were videoed and undeniable, the typical Republican response was to try and come up with something that would get them off the hook. Thus, the "Antifa" theory was born. Try as you all may have, it just didn't take quite like the Great Voting Conspiracy of 2020. Sadly, there are still those that want to perpetuate the lies about the presence of anti-fascists on January 6th and it appears that some are doing so on this forum. This isn't just incorrect information; it is an outright lie, spread by liars. John "Jayden X" Sullivan, is a civil rights activist, videographer and vlogger who went to the capitol that day to document what he believed would occur. He is not "Antifa", though he admits being against fascism, he is not "Black Lives Matter", though he believes in their cause and movement. His posted videos contain 'hashtags' that trigger additional online viewership when the tag is used as a search term. Sullivan documented over 90 minutes of the carnage that day, much of it invaluable to the FBI and other investigative agencies. It is his video that captured the shooting of the woman attempting to breach another barricaded door. Sullivan was initially arrested and charged with trespassing at the Capitol. He was interviewed by the FBI, in what has been described as more of "a witness" type of interview. He voluntarily turned over his recordings of the events that day to the FBI and it is much of his work that was featured in the impeachment hearings, where he was given on-screen acknowledgements. Not exactly the evil terroristic, counter-spy, agent provocateur that Republicans would have you to believe. Yet still they try, even as recently as yesterday, when Sen. Ron Johnson (R) still tried to suggest such a theory at the U.S. Senate's sub-committee hearings on the events of January 6th. Sorry folks, it just didn't happen and they will lie to you without apology or consequence.

Next up would be the evil unicorn that is purported to be 'unreliable renewable/green energy'. This time the Republicans, always ones to jump out there ahead of any opportunity for the truth to be made known, publicly offered their rationalization that all of the failures associated with the lack of power, heat, water and information that besieged poor little red-state Texas, was the fault of renewable energy and the "Green New Deal", something imposed upon them by the Dark Lord that is Biden. Again, nothing further from the truth and just another attempt at deception, deflection and a highly distorted Republican narrative. This only fools the ones that are already fooled, so I suppose it is being done to try and not lose any more of their base than they have already.

For the author of this article concerning Raphael Eduardo Cruz and giving him a free pass on his blatant disregard for his constituency, it is the "public" part of "public service" that commands Cruz's attention, concern and presence (let's just call it 'accountability') in disasters such as the recent freeze and 'white-out'. Changing his story two or three times and contradicting himself while explaining his rationale for his vacation was entertaining, though hard to watch. The man outright lied. More than once. On national television. With no apology or remorse. How very Republican of him. The author of this article seems to allude to some disapproval of the Capitol Riots that occurred in January. Perhaps he missed all of the televised video of his boy Cruz, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with his "1776" diatribe. Sorry Padnuh, that may not bother you, but for me, Rafael Eduardo "Ted" Cruz is a scumbag.

"First, there was the 'Big Lie' about 'voting irregularities'.

Liberals misquote AG Barr believing he said there were NO voting irregularities. What he wrote in a memo was,

“Last week, our nation once again demonstrated the strength of our democracy as more than 140 million Americans cast ballots to select their leaders. I want to thank each of you and your teams for your extraordinary efforts to ensure that all Americans could exercise this most fundamental of rights with confidence and in safety. Now that the voting has concluded, it is imperative that the American people can trust that our elections were conducted in such a way that the outcomes accurately reflect the will of the voters. Although the States have the primary responsibility to conduct and supervise elections under our Constitution and the laws enacted by Congress, the United States Department of Justice has an obligation to ensure that federal elections are conducted in such a way that the American people can have full confidence in their electoral process and their government. The Department's general policies with regard to election fraud investigations are contained in the Justice Manual. Those policies require, among other things, consultation with the Public Integrity Section's Election Crimes Branch ( ECB ) in some instances. Those policies already allow preliminary inquiries, including witness interviews, to be conducted without ECB consultation. In instances in which they are consulted, the ECB' s general practice has been to counsel that overt investigative steps ordinarily should not be taken until the election in question has been concluded, its results certified, and all recounts and election contests concluded. Such a passive and delayed enforcement approach can result in situations in which election misconduct cannot realistically be rectified. Moreover, this ECB practice has never been a hard and fast rule, and case-specific determinations and judgments must be made. While most allegations of purported election misconduct are of such a scale that they would not impact the outcome of an election and, thus, investigation can appropriately be deferred, that is not always the case. Furthermore, any concerns that overt actions taken by the Department could inadvertently impact an election are greatly minimized, if they exist at all, once voting has concluded, even

if election certification has not yet been completed. Given this, and given that voting in our current elections has now concluded, I authorize you to pursue substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities prior to the certification

of elections in your jurisdictions in certain cases, as I have already done in specific instances. Such inquiries and reviews may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State. Any investigation

of claims of irregularities that, if true, would clearly not impact the outcome

of a federal election in an individual State should normally be deferred until after the election certification process is completed. While U.S. Attorneys maintain their inherent authority to conduct inquiries and investigations so they deem appropriate, it will likely be prudent to commence any election-related matters so a preliminary inquiry, so to assess whether available evidence warrants further investigative steps. While it is imperative that credible allegations be addressed in a timely and effective manner, it is equally imperative that Department personnel exercise appropriate caution and maintain the Department s absolute commitment to fairness, neutrality and non-partisanship. You are the most senior leaders in the United States Department of Justice and I trust you to exercise great care and judgment in addressing allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities. While serious allegations should be handled with great care, specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries. Nothing here should be taken so any indication that the Department has concluded that voting irregularities have impacted the outcome of any election. Rather, I provide this authority and guidance to emphasize the need to timely and appropriately address allegations of voting irregularities so that all of the American people, regardless of their preferred candidate or party, can have full confidence in the results of our elections. The American people and the leaders they freely elect deserve nothing less." November 9, 2020

At the time he said there was insufficient voting irregularities to overturn the elections BUT that was only ONE DAY after the investigation started.

Stuart, your putrid hatred of Senator Ted Cruz is appalling. Let your heart not be troubled. There aren't enough Liberal nut jobs in Texas to prevent his re-election. But that won't stop them from demonizing a Texas Senator who is doing the will of the majority of his constituents.

Ted Gillis

Stuart, you and I are apparently just ignorant!

If we just start believing more lies, everything will be just fine.

Carlos Ponce

Ted posts, "Stuart, you and I are apparently just ignorant!"

Ted finally gets it!

Bailey Jones

It's not that you need to believe more lies, you just need to stop believing that words describe objective reality. Then anything goes and you can create your own happy little alternative universe.

If ignorance is bliss then willful ignorance is willful bliss. See?
