Clark only works for himself and paid lobbyists. seems he goes to Austin frequently himself to do some lobbying against what his constituents want!

JD Arnold

How come I haven't heard of this. Please enlighten us Mrs. Dean, what exactly was he lobbying against? The voters have a right to know about your insider information.

Carol Dean

If you are interested in lowering property taxes or at least having a voice in deciding on where they might possibly be capped...ask Clark why he lobbied in Austin AGAINST the Governor's tax reform plan. He even submitted his objection in writing. Come on, Ken, tell us who you are really working for!

JD Arnold

Thank you for your reply.

Doyle Beard

As usual you got no clear answer to your question asked of CD.

Carol Dean

It doesn't get much clearer then that, DB! Clark does NOT want you to have a voice in helping to determine your property taxes. That is exactly what he lobbied for in Austin. Are you telling me that you don't want a "say so" in helping to control your property taxes? Ken said you shouldn't.

Phillip Webb

Carol Dean

Does this answer your question, DB?
Thank you Mr. Webb.

Doyle Beard

yet you support another candidate in another race that believes Austin has the Answers. Confusing.

Carol Dean

The clear difference is CHARACTER! Mayes Middleton has it and Fakecloth doesn't. Wayne and his wife Cheryl verbally shouted, hollered and squealed at two of Mr. Middleton's volunteers this morning accusing them of removing Waynes signs in front of the County Courthouse, including his large ones! No way! A trip around the block in front of the courthouse later that afternoon revealed that someone had taken down all kinds of signs and had thrown them over a locked fence surrounding a vacant building. Yes, there were even Middleton signs there as well. The highlight of today was when Wayne came sneaking around Katie's Seafood to "spy" on an event that Governor Abbott had scheduled to be in attendance to support Middleton. Due to inclement weather, Abbott was unable to attend and wants to reschedule at a later time.

Mayes Middleton wants to go to Austin to serve you, Mr. Beard. Wayne wants to be re-elected because he needs a job. It's up to you to make your own choice.

Doyle Beard

The job you say he wants sure doesn't pay much. Cant live on the salary.

Carol Dean

Mr. Beard, with his salary from his insurance company and the pay of a representative, pretty sure he will be able to "survive".

Doyle Beard

If you read my post I was about the Austin job. you said he needed a job was the reason he was running, if that's the case he sure isn't getting much salary. and I merely said the pay was poorly. No one would cherish that job for the salary

Carol Dean

Check the app. Nextdoor, Dickinson. Apparently a lot of people are complaining about Wayne and his service since Harvey. I haven't looked at fb yet, the site might be on there as well.
