[thumbup] So true! Thank you for the post!

PD Hyatt

Excellent post.... Will the MSM hear you ???? I seriously doubt that they will as they have an agenda and some of us can tell they have one by the way they twist everything that they write....

Emile Pope

"The Founding Father’s with their break from the “Tyranny of England” and the forging of these documents paved the way for the beginning of the end of these behaviors." Sounds more like franchising...

Ted Gillis

Their agenda is to sell their product. To do so they must attract the most readers to sell their advertising at a high enough price to cover their costs and to return a profit.

This is capitalism at it’s best!

jimmy winston

I love how nowadays Newspapers publishing things you disagree with has become "Newspapers need to post the truth." Snowflake behavior at its finest!

Carlos Ponce

Newspaper readership is down nationwide. If their agenda "is to sell their product" I think they better check the demographics of their potential buyers. The editorial content does not reflect the populace. Balance would be preferred. And it's sad to see biased content in AP news feeds.

If you pick up a paper in cities other than Galveston you will see that most side with a political party. The reason being money. No public business can survive with out money. Therefore you as a reader have to consider the source before you decide to believe the articles or not.

This is soooo right-wing with a big undercurrent of racism.

No surprise from US District Judge Victor Marrero, first appointed by Jimmy Carter, then Bill Clinton and his latest gig by Barack Obama. Wait for the appeal.

You better hurry up and get your donations in to the “Build the Wall” fund. Steve Brannon and his friends have just about used all the money up to buy themselves, cars, boats, houses and other essential needs that crooks always need. Tell the AP to be fair when reporting their arrests, and not to use unflattering pictures with them in handcuffs.

If Bannon did something wrong let justice prevail. Just because he worked with Trump for a short time doesn't mean anything.

Gary Scoggin

"All the best people."

Carlos Ponce

Gary Scoggin, have you already tried and convicted him? Recall the words "A person is innocent unless proven guilty."

Jim Forsythe

Bannon worked with Trump for more than a short time.

In 2016, Bannon became chief executive of Trump’s campaign, and is widely credited as the architect of the 2016 win. Bannon served as Trump's chief White House adviser for seven months before resigning in August 2017.

His nationalist positions became central to Trump’s agenda. Bannon stayed close to Trump in the White House. The president gave him the newly created role of chief strategist and senior counselor, granting him enormous clout in the administration.

Some others that were part of this. Many of the names are part of Trumps circle.

The indictment raises questions about other Trump allies as well. We Build the Wall’s board members included Kris Kobach, the former Kansas secretary of state; Erik Prince, the Blackwater founder and a brother of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos; David A. Clarke, Jr., the former sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; and Curt Schilling, the former major-league-baseball pitcher.

Carlos Ponce

Short time, Jim.

If you're going to count days how about comparing the length of tome Michael Flynn spent in the Obama administration as opposed to the length of time he spent in the Trump administration.

Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Obama administration, In office from July 24, 2012 – August 7, 2014 = 2 years + two weeks.

24th United States National Security Advisor under Donald Trump. In office from

January 22, 2017 – February 13, 2017 = 22 days.

Yet when you badmouth the general, you say he was Trump's not Obama's man.

Jim Forsythe

This is about Bannon.

Carlos Ponce

"The indictment raises questions about other Trump allies as well."

"This is about Bannon."

Looks like Jim changed horses in midstream.

Jim Forsythe

And Trumps circle.

Jim Forsythe

Bannon, a law enforcement official said, was taken into custody off the coast of Westbrook, Conn., while aboard a 150-foot yacht owned by his friend, Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui — who is wanted by authorities in Beijing on charges of fraud, blackmail and bribery.

Ted Gillis

He worked for Trump? Oh that’s right, he hardly knew the guy.

I was commenting on him more because of his connection to that fine news organization Brietbart.
