We get the government we deserve and Texas voters deserve a crook like Paxton.

Ron Binkley

The bottom line is that Paxton should be in jail, not in office.

The more you post against Paxton, the more likely he is going to win re-election if he chooses to run.

Gary Scoggin

Can you explain that comment, please, Carlos?

Carlos Ponce

Self explanatory. But here goes:

Gary Scoggin: Paxton bad!

Majority of Voters: We'll vote for Paxton.

Gary Scoggin

Just so I understand your post, the fact that I personally think Paxton is bad will motivate those otherwise not so inclined to go out and vote for him. Thanks for that very rational and logical explanation. It's all so clear now.

"The more you post against Paxton, the more likely he is going to win re-election if he chooses to run." This explains why some are defending Trump, because they like people that run for office, to break the law. When someone post that the more bad things that a person does make them a more attractive candidate to them, you have to ask that person why?

Why would they want to vote for a person like that!

Mar. 24, 2021---A state judge has rejected a bid to dismiss a whistleblower lawsuit filed by four former executives at Attorney General Ken Paxton's office who said they were fired in retaliation after accusing their boss of misconduct.

And with Jim's post, add more votes for Paxton.

Jim Forsythe

Why would they want to vote for a person like that!

Nice point: “Given all of this — the sycophancy to Trump, the promotion of the Big Lie of voter fraud — it was no surprise Paxton attended the Jan. 6 “Save America Rally” that morphed into an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.” But let’s keep in mind that those who defend Paxton are inflamed Trumpsters claiming the attempted coup was the same as “When Democrats questioned the election of Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush. …in the SAME MANNER.” President Jimmy Carter conceded to President-elect Ronald Reagan on November 5, 1980. Vice-President Al Gore conceded to President-elect George W. Bush on December 13, 2000. President Trump first urged a mob to march to the Capital to disrupt the Electoral College before conceding the next day.

The soon to be former President, eight Senators, and 139 congressmen attempted a coup that cost the lives of five people with more than 140 injured. The mob carrying iron clubs, bear spray, and crow bars threatened to lynch Vice President Mike Pence and stormed the capital building.

Capital Police risked their lives fighting the mob and rescued US Congress people and Senators from the floor of the Capital. Congress overwhelmingly voted to the honor bravery of these officers who saved the lives of the Vice President, the Senators, and the Congressmen. Twelve Republicans including three from Texas refused to honor the men and women who saved the Republic.

Never forget this day of infamy. This is not the same as a concession.

" President Trump first urged a mob to march to the Capital to disrupt the Electoral College before conceding the next day."

As usual you ignore that President Trump asked them to be PEACEFUL.

"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

Thomas Carpenter

"It's going to be wild!" That's what the disgraced former president told his foot soldiers.

Ted Gillis

He only said that once. Count the times he encouraged violence.

Carlos Ponce

In Ted's mind, even cheerleaders encourage violence - "GO, FIGHT, WIN!
