Today is National Junk Food Day. And, sorry, we’re going to be “that guy.”

This mostly-for-fun, made-up holiday gets about as much publicity as National Name Your Car Day and National Talk in an Elevator Day, so there’s no actual parade to rain on. But it does bring up many questions — mostly “why?” — and opens the door to an important conversation.
