Every February, Americans take the time out to highlight and celebrate the many achievements by African Americans and how they were — and still are — an integral part that makes up the fabric of the United States.

Black History Month, also known as African American History Month, grew out of “Negro History Week,” which was the brainchild of Harvard-trained historian Carter G. Woodson and several other prominent African Americans.

I just got a copy of the new book featured at the Rosenberg - The Undefeated, a poem by Kwame Alexander, illustrated by Kadir Nelson. It features Jack Johnson on the cover and inside, matched to the verse "This is for the unflappable. The sophisticated ones who box adversity and tackle vision."

Good for OUR president for exonerating and pardoning Jack Johnson when he was overlooked by previous administrations.

Good Observation Mr. Naschke! More than a few American Presidents past old Jack by like he had the plague, including Barrack Obama, because they had no courage! They were afraid! Then entered that BADDDDDD MANNNNN! One who I affectionately calls "TRUMP DIESEL!" I call him that because when he is on the tracks....he is coming through like a Rumbling Train! He will get it done!!

I can give Trump props for that, Charles. But mostly to Sylvester Stallone for suggesting it to him.

Saying someone is right on one topic (Jack Johnson) doesn’t mean they are always right on other topics (Vindman firing). Just as saying someone is wrong on a topic (opinion) doesn’t mean they are always wrong.

Credit where credit is due, and discredit wherever it's merited.
