“It came from me looking at it and saying, ‘This is not acceptable.’”

That’s how a lot of positive change starts in communities. With one person looking at one problem and working on one solution. Something immediate that makes a difference right away.

This is wonderful. But my major concern in the whole of Galveston County is litter. Anyone have ideas of how to control it? I have been told that the municipal court judges can't order community service that involves picking up trash any more. We have people with absolutely no concept of what they are doing when they throw their trash out their car window. Come on folks, if you throw it out someone else has to pick it up. Were you raised in a barn (as my mother used to say)?
