People in Bolivar can continue to call upon their county sheriff’s department if they feel threatened by fireworks being discharged too close to their property, as they have no municipal government to complain to.
They can however ask Miles to sponsor some kind of statewide ordinance, as he seems to think that more state rules in unincorporated areas is the right answer these days. Maybe he’ll even push to allow fireworks to only be discharged from the back of a golf cart!
Good job Angelica! Made me think about Gov. Abbott;s description of migrants from California. He said they are according to surveys mostly conservatives who enjoy and will protect Texas freedoms. Buying a gun, getting a carry licence and wearing a gun to church.
