A friend of mine, with whom I share a love of writing, suggested I order a book he likes giving advice on how to write.

Since he says he likes my columns, which I regularly send for his approval, I’m wondering if he’s trying to mess me up without thinking. I think, why fix something that doesn’t need fixing. Words to that effect. I am, after all, pretty self-assured. Obnoxiously proud, to be honest.
