Robin Louise Hunter Messina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Robin was born December 17 1953 in Texas City to Robert and Betty Hunter. She was preceded in death by Grandparents Ned and Margaret Hunter, Uncle Richard, Uncle Calvin and Aunt Elouise.

Robin graduated Texas City High School in 1972. She married her soul mate Frank Messina and resided in Dickinson. She retired from CVS as the Store Manager after 25 years.

Robin truly loved life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends. Robin had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She loved her grandkids and showered them with gifts.

She is survived by her husband Frank, daughter Tanya Paul, step daughters — Katrina Brunette and Tiffany Messina, sisters — Dana Wright and Margo Crenshaw, grandkids — Madeline, Layton, Amber, Shelby and Chloe, and many extended Family.

Family, friends and any others whose lives Robin touched are invited to the Carnes Funeral Home, Texas City, TX for a viewing November 8th, 2017 starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, November 9th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside rite to follow at Galveston Memorial Park cemetery, Hitchcock TX.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Frank and Robin have been strong supporters for many years.
