Allan Passed away on Oct 30, 2017 after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family, He was loved dearly by all.

He was born in Houston to Zella and Bernard Paul Vogler, He grew up in Houston, and attended Austin High School, and University of Houston where he was a member of Sigma Nu.

Allan’s career was in sales and marketing with Graver Tank, Aerojet General, Rimkus engineering and Swiftco where he served as president. He then found his joy in selling Vacation real estate on Galveston Island.

He loved sailing and traveling, especially to Puerto Vallarta and was a member of Z crew, He loved his family, and friends and relished life.

He is survived by his wife Sue Lyons Vogler, his ex-wife Inge Vogler Burke as well as his sons, Ben Vogler, Scott Lyons, Steve Lyons, and his daughters, Sandy Vogler Belcher, Kay Vogler Prince, Loni Lyons Represas, Andrea Lyons Williams and Lucinda Lyons Teter. He is also survived by 13 Grand Children and 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great granddaughter.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the family home on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm. We ask that in lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity, and for all to enjoy life as much as did Allan.
