Bettejane (Tootie) Click Tuttoilmondo, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in League City, TX. Tootie was born April 15, 1942, in Hitchcock, TX, the youngest of eight children of Jack and Esther Tacquard Click. She was a member of the Pep Squad and played the coronet in the first organized high school band at Hitchcock High School, where she graduated in 1960. Tootie married Anthony Joseph Tuttoilmondo, Jr. on September 24, 1960 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock, and together she and her husband settled in Santa Fe, TX, to raise their family.

Growing up, Tootie’s mother kept Tootie and her sisters busy all the time with hobbies such as cooking, ceramics, and hand crafts, such as sewing, cross stitch, embroidery, and crochet. Tootie made many of her own clothes, including her prom dress and her wedding suit.

Tootie was a stay-at-home mom and a homemaker whose central focus was her family. She was a beautiful, Christian lady who lived by example of what it is to be a strong, Godly woman.

Tootie was preceded in death by her parents, as well as siblings: Jack Julian Click, Jr., Lawrence S. Click, Virginia Sue Click Schanzer, and William Click.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Tuttoilmondo, Jr.; children: Mike Anthony Tuttoilmondo, Mark Anthony Tuttoilmondo, and Cherri Tuttoilmondo; daughter-in-law, Jessica Tuttoilmondo; grandchildren: Mark Tuttoilmondo, Jr., Sterling McIntosh, Blake Morris, Ryan Morris, and Dylan Morris; siblings: Taylor Click, Joan Click Robinson, and Linky Click; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tootie’s family will receive visitors beginning at 9:00 am, Monday, August 14, 2017, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Monday at the funeral home with burial following the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.
