TEXAS CITY, TX — Richard Hanns Kroiss, 83, passed away on July 25, 2022, at his home in Texas City, Texas.
Richard was born in Chicago, IL on August 8, 1938, to parents Hanns Kroiss and Mathilde Karl. He moved to Binghamton, NY at the age of five. He graduated from Binghamton High School in 1956 and obtained his graduated degree from University of Minnesota. Richard taught at a college in Minneapolis, MN before working as a consultant for Keith Stevens, through which he transferred from Minneapolis to Houston, TX. In Houston he worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Texas Instruments, later forming a partnership to create a quality consulting firm.
Richard is survived by wife Patricia and step-son Keith Vyvial.
