Viewing and visitation will take place on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 9-11AM in the Chapel of Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77591. The Going Home Celebration will begin at 11AM with the Rev. Jerry B. Lee, Jr. officiating. Interment service will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

Obituaries are a paid feature of the Galveston County Daily News. Cost is based on the length of the obituary. Once received, we will provide a proof and quote.
The deadline to submit an obituary is 12 noon for the following day's edition. Note: We print Tuesday - Saturday. The deadline for the weekend edition is Friday by noon. Obits MUST be e-mailed in a ‘Word document’ format EXACTLY as you wish to have published. All photos must be in JPG format with a 300 DPI resolution.

The family of Theodore Hightower invites you to join them as they celebrate his life today, July 10,2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 8:30 AM, a rosary at 9:20 AM followed by a funeral mass 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
