With the score tied 7-7 in the eighth, the DSL Yankees took the lead for good when Marco Naranjo hit an RBI triple, bringing home Sergio Vargas.

Yorlin Calderon (2-1) got the win in relief while Sergio Sanchez (1-1) took the loss in the Dominican Summer League game.

For the DSL Phillies Red, Alexeis Azuaje doubled twice and singled, scoring three runs.

Despite the loss, DSL Phillies Red is 5-2 against DSL Yankees this season.
