Detectives on Wednesday were investigating two vehicles that were shot up while parked in a residential driveway, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Quaker Drive about 7:30 a.m. after a car pulled into a driveway and occupants opened fire, police spokesman officer Lorenzo Manuel de la Garza said.
“Officers arrived on scene and were advised that a small, dark-colored vehicle with dark tinted windows pulled up to a residence,” de la Garza said. “Several shots were fired into two unoccupied vehicles parked in a driveway.”
Bullets shattered vehicle windows and struck a garage, de la Garza said.
The residence was occupied by four adults, but no injuries were reported, de la Garza said.
“This is an active investigation and anybody with information should contact detective Jimmie Reynolds,” de la Garza said.
Reynolds can be contacted at 409-643-5836, he said.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting can also call Mainland Community Crime Stoppers at 409-945-8477.
