The Clear Creek High School student who went missing Monday after getting off the bus returned home Wednesday night, police said today.
The Webster Police Department was notified about 7:30 a.m. that Sebastian Benjamin Bennett, 17, of Webster, returned home the previous evening after going missing more than 50 hours earlier. Bennett’s case had been handled as a runaway, assistant police chief Jeremy Edge said.
Bennett had not been seen since getting off the bus near his home in the 500 block of W. NASA Parkway in Webster, police said. He did not arrive home and his parents did not hear from him until his return, police said.
“We appreciate all the help in attempting to locate Sebastian and getting him home safely,” Edge said.
Police didn't know where Bennett had been or what he was doing during his two days missing, Edge said.
