Texas City Bank Robbery

Police released these images of a man who robbed the PNC Bank in the 2100 block of Palmer Highway on Thursday, Oct. 28.


Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a bank Thursday afternoon while decked out in high-visibility safety gear.

The man held up the PNC Bank in the 2100 block of Palmer Highway about 1:55 p.m. Thursday, the police department said.

The man was described as white or Hispanic. He was wearing a bright orange and yellow safety jacket, orange hat and white headphones

The man approached a teller, demanded money and ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

He was last seen running south, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about the robbery to contact investigators at 409-643-5720 or Mainland Communities Crime Stoppers at 409-945-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrest or charges.
