A teenager was arrested last week and charged with a felony in connection to an October bank robbery in Texas City, police disclosed Tuesday.

Omar Anthony Salazar, 17, of La Marque, was arrested on Nov. 11, according to the Texas City Police Department. He was charged with aggravated robbery in an Oct. 28 holdup at the PNC Bank in the 2100 block of Palmer Highway.

Salazar is accused of entering the bank and demanding money from the teller, then leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was wearing a bright yellow jacket, an orange safety vest and hat, headphones and a face mask when he entered the bank, according to police.

Police didn't say on Tuesday how they connected Salazar to the crime.

Salazar was held on $100,000 bond and was still in custody at the Galveston County Jail on Tuesday morning.
