Galveston police accuse a Houston man of sexually assaulting a girl younger than 6 years old, according to court records. 

A grand jury indicted Jamie Michael Brown, 25, on Nov. 1 on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. 

The charge has a possible sentence of 5 to 99 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000. 

Brown was in Galveston County jail on Wednesday on $100,000 bond.
