TEXAS CITY — First Choice Power on Tuesday closed its office in Texas City. The company once hailed the office as a way to differentiate itself from its competitors by providing direct face-to-face customer service.

The customer service center was opened to allow customers to pay their bills, sign up for service or have questions answered about their electricity bills. Most electric retail providers in Texas operate by phone or by websites and not with brick-and-mortar stores.
