Why do we need more than 9 days for voting? A week plus two weekends would provide enough days off for everyone.

Jim Forsythe

Gary, have you voted in places like Houston, that has wait times up to 4 hours. This year the wait will be longer. We the extra time required for the Covit19 This is why the Governor, increased the number of days..

If you want less days of voting, we need to make voting by mail, legal for all.

Carlos Ponce

America's ancestors had but ONE DAY to vote. No complaints.

Ted Gillis

Oh I think there may have been a few complaints, even back then when they burned witches.

Carlos Ponce

Wrong century, Ted!

Jim Forsythe

In 1789, the first presidential election, George Washington was unanimously elected president of the United States. Fifty years before the only witch ever in the USA, was burned to death for being a witch.

There was actually only one person burned as a witch in the US, her name was Leah Smock from Battletown in Meade County KY. and she was 22 years old. In 1840 a posse visited her father’s farm when she was alone, locked her in a smokehouse, and set it on fire burning her to death. She is the only known person to have been burnt as a witch in the United States. Salem witches were hanged or stoned to death.

"She is the only known person to have been burnt as a witch in the United States." FALSE. She was executed in Colonial America. There was NO United States at the time.
