Body found on beach

Galveston police officers and emergency personnel investigate where the body of a young boy was found near Stewart Beach on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017.

A young boy’s body was found in the surf on the beach near 8th Street and Seawall Boulevard on Friday night, police said.

A person walking near Stewart Beach found the body in the surf around 5:35 p.m. Friday and called authorities, police said. The body had apparently washed ashore, Capt. Joshua Schirard said.

Police suspected the boy was between the ages of 3 and 5 years old, Schirard said. Authorities did not provide any other description of the boy. The boy was alone, Schirard said.

Police had limited information Friday night and said they were searching missing persons databases to see if they found a boy matching the description, Schirard said.

I feel the same. A sweet baby boy. Why was he all alone ? Why is NO ONE missing him & looking for him ? Lord Jesus please help us with answers. Baby boy, U have many praying for ur spirit & soul. Jesus loves the little children & U are safe in HIS arms👼. This is just really worrying me. Why is no one frantic over this ?

Perhaps there is a family out in the Gulf that needs rescuing.
