Nationally we've recorded over 18,000 deaths in the past 7 days. We will surely exceed 400,000 deaths by the end of this month. Everyone please, please, please exercise common sense and stayed masked, avoid crowds, and limit your interaction with people outside of your household as much as possible.
The only man I know who died from the Chinese virus had severe lung problems for several years. If you have a pre-existing condition then control your environment by as Bailey puts it, limiting "your interaction with people outside of your household as much as possible".
That's it. I will end any further interaction with this Russian troll. I advise everyone to do the same to avoid the usual misinformation and worse.
I quit responding to him awhile back. But I occasionally relapse. Maybe we need a 12 Step program for feeding trolls.

Misinformation like you present in your columns.....
Die Gedanken sind frei.
A Russian troll? Lol. Who? Carlos? He was my 9th grade Algebra teacher back in 1979. He’s is Hispanic as is his name.
Happy New Year Shawn! Good to hear from you. This is what happens in the GCDN forums. You post something they disagree with and suddenly you're listed as a "Russian Troll". It's similar to elementary and junior high bullying tactics.
We get a daily report on covid deaths. How many total deaths? 4.5 million US citizens died in 2019, a normal rate for our population. Same number likely will die this year because the covid deaths were mostly among those already dying from other causes.
This is incorrect Gary. 2020 saw an increase in deaths over 2019 (and the previous 5 years) of more than 300,000. These were COVID deaths. A mathematical proof of this fact can be found in the comments here - https://www.galvnews.com/news/article_4ee7a0dd-a0c8-534c-ae70-db7aba80f9dd.html
Don’t bother, Bailey.
I don't do it for Gary M's benefit, Gary S, but for the innocent bystander who may come through. This is one of those persistent lies that do real damage to the nation. I live in the hope that someone will see my response, check the data for themselves, and become a better informed citizen. Who knows - it may birth critical thinking in someone's brain.
You are a good man, Bailey. There is no upside to trying to convince some of the fact-resistance folks around here.
Gary S, I like to think, that with Trump finally out of the way, we can try to get back to finding some common ground. Most Trumpsters don't seem willing, but among a few conservatives here I have been able to find some. Gary M and I agree about recycling if nothing else. And there are others here I can stand with on certain issues, and just set aside the fact that they may fanatically cling to theories that I know to be false. During the election, I waged a fierce, and I thought amusing, war of signs with an elderly Trumpster neighbor. She quit speaking to me. At Christmas, I baked her a truly awesome cheesecake, and she left a thank you note in my mailbox. And now we're friends again.
As much fun as it is to just relentlessly grind away at the opinions of people I disagree with, ultimately that doesn't get us anywhere. I'm trying to spend less energy on those who present themselves as lost causes, and more on people with whom I can find some agreement - even if it's only once in a while.
Dying with the Chinese virus is different than dying from the Chinese virus. According to the CDC 94% of the former, 6% of the latter.
Thanks, Bailey.
A US population of 330 million with life expectancy of less than 80 years automaticly equals 4.4 million deaths a year from all causes. Births and immigration maintains population growth.
Because most Covid deaths were people with life ending conditions the reported covid deaths will be among the 4.4 million. Life expectancy will not decline more than a week or two if at all.
