Two people were arrested Thursday on multiple drug charges and other charges, the Galveston County Sheriff's Office said.

On Jan. 25, the sheriff's office special crimes unit served a search warrant at a hotel in the 4800 block of Texas Avenue in La Marque, police said.

Deputies entered a room in the hotel and found cocaine, Xanax and marijuana, police said. Two people were inside the room and were arrested, the sheriff's office said.

Juan Garcia, 50, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and was held on outstanding warrants out of Brazoria County for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and evading arrest, among other charges. His bond was set at $164,695, the sheriff's office said.

Brandy Dickey, 41, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and was held on two outstanding warrants. Her bond was set at $210,000, the sheriff's office said.
