On Friday evening, dozens of participants strolled down Seawall Boulevard sporting red high heels. The Resource and Crisis Center held their 3rd annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants are asked to walk a mile in high heels to represent what it is like to walk in a domestic violence victim's shoes. The Resource and Crisis Center strives to provide aid and healing to those who have experienced domestic violence.
