Law enforcement officers from agencies across Galveston County gathered Thursday for the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service at the Joe Max Taylor Law Enforcement Facility in Galveston.

The event, co-hosted by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office and the Galveston Police Department, and observed each year during National Police Week, honors members of law enforcement who lost their lives in the line of duty.
